If im not wrong she did said that she joined nogi because she think there will be no more chance like this.
Well she did learnt a lot of stuff since young like piano and ballet, might be her choice but who knows.
I do think they might be strict too but she can still do what she like. Like before joining nogi, she like acting and singing thats why she joined a lot auditions. She was under an agency too and act in a movie.
Mad respect to her tho, to me she is forever nogi no 1 genius.

We know Ikuta is stubborn, so if she decided at a young age that she wanted to be a musical actress, you can bet that she put in a lot of work to become one. Perhaps she thought that trivial things that didn't really contribute to her dream, such as video games, she would sacrifice. Remember in the first Nogi documentary, she was the one begging for a piano, and she promised to practice if she got one, a example of her stubbornness. Not sure if we can say the Ikuta household was strict. If we truly want to know, we've got the control variable in her older sister - what did she think?

It's amazing. Ikuta became our beloved, adorkable ojousama through a combination of talent, hard work, and luck.

Anyhow, let's just remind ourselves that Ikuchan with kurokami and ponytail is fantastic. You can find it from that Music Fest show from earlier in the week. So good.
