Ikuta Erika (Ikuchan) / 1st Gen

Nanase had the most magazine cover appearances in 2017 if I recall correctly. I think she's definitely the most popular right now alongside Maiyan. I'm curious if management is going to continue with Nanase and Ashu as double center for the next single or finally give Ikuta center again. I can see them doing something crazy like the Yoda/Momoka pairing again though...

Maybe it’s really Nacchan since she have been center more than once this year and ofcourse she’s also a model so. Honestly, if they can’t give it to Ikuchan, i hope it wont be either between Nacchan and Ashu. Not that I don’t like them. I would prefer for something new to watch at the center. But I hope its really Ikuchan so that they can give something as classic as Nandome.

I want Ikubo center for 20th single. But I think at group's current state, it's very unlikely for Iku to become center again, unless she graduating.

And she doing fine for now. Fans hype for her not as much as last year, but she is on right track. Musical is segmented and exclussive. But as long as the actors have real talent they will doing fine. A lot of musical actors shoot to more mainstream entertainment industry by producing single, album, starring in movie or TV drama. Matsu Takako who play Constanze star alot of drama. Takahata Mitsuki, Kimura Yoshino, Ohara Sakurako, Yamazaki Ikusaburo, Shirota Yu, and else. Musical provide longevity career.

They’re gonna have a phantom of the opera stage I think, and Ikuchan’s name was listed as the actress/one of the actresses for Meg Giry role. But I’m not sure if it means she will have the role or they just consider her for it. I don’t understand Japanese really well, so I hope that someone can enlighten me with this. I also haven’t heard from the fans about this. I just accidentally saw this. I’m sorry if this would be a bother. T.T

It’s nice that some people are considering Ikuchan as part of that “dream team” for Phantom of the Opera. Well, since technically she’s part of Toho Stage. But still, even if the role is not the biggest one, being a part of that cast would be a great honor. I really hope she could be part of it in the future to add to her growing list of huge musical productions.
