Imaizumi Yui (Zuumin) / Keyakizaka46 1st Generation

I guess @chiara_t was wondering if we wont be seeing Imaizumi being part of Keyaki anymore after that graduation anouncement.
still not sure about this one.. but i think we will be informed in due time, i'm hoping there will be a graduation concert or something or at least a final performance as a Keyakizaka member by her

 

There won't be any dry eyes in the room... I wonder what song would be best for her to perform, to close the concert... a cheerful song? I would have preferred Saisei Suru saibo to become her final song for the night.

 

I wouldn't keep my hopes high of seeing her with the group again. I think it's just a bonus she's still part of this new single. Cmiiw, didn't she say management was informed about her decision to graduate and can't join the group, but she was allowed to join with a solo song. It would be nice though to have a final goodbye in maybe, Keyakakenai like in Nogizaka, recent graduating members have their farewell in Nogichu.
If somehow a concert is held and she sing Natsu no Hana, not sure if I can manage to watch it, even a clip of the performance is dangerous to me.

 

Just found out about her graduation announcement. Noooo, Zuumin...


Yuipon's blog post was beautifully written, but it makes me wonder...is it possible for both of them to perform as Yuichanzu in the future, even with Zuumin outside of the group?

 

While this would be a dream comes true for me, I think it would be near impossible... But, who knows... I do hope Zuumin continues singing... and that her label will make her work available (relatively) easily for international fans (iTunes? Spotify?)

 

Maybe they will held zuumin grad concert at their last tour? It's possible.

 

Her last solo song is making me cry... Thinking about her graduation concert makes me wanna hug myself and cry at a corner..

Yeah, I think having her grad concert at the next tour sounds plausible. And who knows, maybe she'll center the next single and finally get her chance to shine as center on an A-side. *crosses fingers* (Sorry, Techi, you're still cool though.)

 

I don't think she will participate next single. Cmiiw zuu said 7th single was her last participating in keyaki?

 

@Hiraishin Yes. Zuumin herself clarified on her blog that Ambivalent is her last single in Keyaki

 

Zuumin will get a photobook, it was shot in Italy.
Release date is October 3rd ~swimsuit shots to be included.

Just listened to Zuumin song. It is nice song. I hope mngmnt make MV for this song, just like what Nogi's mngmnt did to Naimononedari, Nanamin solo grad song.

Good on Zumiko. This is gna be a definite cop. A photobook from Southern Italy is gna definitely have some pretty good backgrounds. Looking forward to this

The book seems to me like management being good to her, understanding that they blocked her natural progress by sticking with Techi at centre. As a Techi fan, I would have done the same, but it really was unfair to Zumiko. Going ahead with the book also suggests to me that they may indeed have hopes for her solo career. The book itself should bring a useful sum of money to her, and it may also help to launch her solo career. Ganbatte, Zumiko. Ganbatte, Sony.

Some Japanese comment has the opposite reaction to mine, saying that the publicity seems half-hearted.

I note that the book staff is using the nickname "Zumiko" now, which is the one she has said she would have chosen from the start.

 

Darn, must have missed that. Would have been nice to have a single dedicated to Zuumin's graduation, but oh well.

Anyways, I'm glad she has her solo song and she has a pb coming up! Can't wait to see the beautiful shots from Italy.
