She's really transformed since she lightened and change her hair style.

Before she was a tomboy but lately she's wearing cute dress that really look good on her.

 

Looking back at her earlier pics and videos, even about 2 years ago, she seemed alot more spunky and talked more back then. She seemed to have changed alot recently, becoming slightly quieter. Is it just a result of growing a little older, or did something happen that made her a little more emo ?

 

probably thinking of graduating.

 

On her early Nogi days she strifed so hard to get "common idol persona", although to her dismay she didn't managed to enter Fukujin even once. You can see on early NogiDoko episodes how frustrated she was during Senbatsu announcement (eventhough she's got into Senbatsu, she still said that it was frustrating). The thing is she hated acting real feminine, thus maybe on those days she felt it was all for nothing

Then, for sometime she was dropped to Under, and during this time changes happened. I think fans reception to her cool performance in "Ano Hi Boku wa Tossa Ni Uso wo Tsuita" was really good that she then decided to display her actual self. Forgetting the feminine image, what we got is the current Sayunyan with her weird way of laughing .

 

^But she is a lot more feminine than before. - She started cutesy but then decided to be more tomboy. Now she is girly again but mature feminine.

I think the change happened due to growing up and also because of stress and more exposure to adult life in general, and also maybe partially due to the conservative society she lives in. You can tell that she still is acting her own true self and that her persona changed. Sometimes, if you observe her closely, i.e. during the recent wolf game, she seems to be somewhat in thought.

 

Ah yeah... maybe "Cutesy" is a better word to describe her early days
I don't know about stress though... but her sudden crying during Inumen Nabe party did showed that a lot is on her mind.

 

The rehearsal of her stage play is gonna broadcasted on April 13. I think it's the very first time I see the stage play's rehearsal will be broadcasted in TV.

Sayunyan to be a main character in Sailor Moon musical.
Theater is her world, though. In the recent years, she's very often to be a cast or main character in the stage and musical.

It's amazing to see members get a various kind of jobs. From seiyuu, model, artist, actress, writer, etc.

Sayunyan to be the cast of anime "Lord of Vermillion: Guren no Ou". It will broadcasted on July 2018.
This is the very first time she becomes seiyuu. Congrats!

Not the first time, Hinachima did some anime voice acting a while ago, sayuringo also did a voice acting for a game if i'm not mistaken
anyway i heard that it's an anime adaptation of some shitty game, but i will watch it just cause i wanna hear sayunyan's voice lol

 

Wow, that's news for me. I'm not sure about the game though, read a bit and turns out it is a trading card game for Arcade machine (guess that's where the 'Shitty' part comes in ). But since the game is published by Square-Enix, I think they will also act one of the producers for the anime as well. Square-Enix produced anime are usually good, at minimum in animation/effects department.
