Yuriya has decided not to participate in the SSK. Here's her post about it today:


No grad flags (I hope), I think the thought of dropping spots has caused her so much stress.
Anyway she had a great spot at the MSTA:

It was a good run. Ranked in SSK, and chosen for HKT senbatsu twice. Too bad her name doesn't get hyped in international fandom as much as domestic did.

Nevertheless, Congraduation!

 

So it was a grad flag after all lol.
I kinda started thinking it was after reading some fan comments.
She didn't set any goals anymore, she deleted some of her labyrinth team stuff and fans were staying that her family is actually pretty "proper" and stern on education.
Leads me to think that she was going to graduate at this point in her life regardless to be honest.
So I guess both the group and her got the best out of the recent time leading up to this.

Her last stage will be 12th June, after that she'll work to get into university.
No clue what she'll be studying, but perhaps something fashion related.

 

For the last few weeks I started to see her as a little sis',for some reason,so...little sis'! Like @EinhanderX said,she might not most popular but she still had a good run!I'm sure she will leave with her heart content and full of good memories!

 

She had just recently broke into my top16, as well. #15 to be exact.

Damn. First Naopon and now Yuriya, all of my favourite girls are graduating.
I'm glad she finally started to get a bit of the spotlight from both fans and management before she ended up going. I suppose it's a good time to go when she's kind of at the height of her popularity.

 

I'm sad to see my favorite cat lady go! I really admire the way she produced content. The photoshoots were great, and something I think more girls should consider doing.

I only just start to notice her around half a year a go.

damn... I really thought she'd be around for another few years.

 

This is sad for me, cuz I just got interested to her...

She rose to being one of my most liked members. And I'm glad to have voted for her last year. It was a great run in the end, 2 senbatsu's, AKB B-sides, own center song, Labyrinth stuff, magazines, ect.
With now a fitting closure. Seeing her go like this doesn't really make me feel sad, more melancholic. The simple realization that it's over.

Also,
It seems that as a last gesture in the idol career of her daughter, Yuriya's mom secretly came to the theater lobby and added a freshly bloomed rose and a cat plushie to the graduation flower stand. The mom who always diligently made custom uniforms for Yuriya and made her famous Uniform Collection Photoshoots on G+.



A fitting end to one of the most unique and interesting rises in HKT48's history, for I think forever.
