They usually delete all the election videos after the election, but you can still find it easily through other channels and such.
Reformation of team M and team BII were announced recently. I'm rooting for Yuumin! For the last handshake event, Nakano Reina made a post where she admitted that there were times when she by herself and was feeling despondent, then later more people came so she was quite happy. I was reading comments from matome and someone said "Never forget Yuumin," and linked to a really old post from 2011. For her birthday, her mother wrote a letter: Well, that was a sad start to this morning.
I think someone mentioned that during her last birthday show, saying her birthday letter was a lot happier this time. Even if she's still a KKS, she at least gets people in her handshake line. Talk about starting from the bottom though. That must have been rough. Spotted this last night. Seems they're going to interview a different member each week. http://www.entamenext.com/news/detail/id=500 ^^ Corrected, apparently it had linked a Chikipa thing instead, I must have missed the last number off when I copied and pasted
Your link should be id=500, not id=50, haha. Also they've been doing these for a while, first up was in early March with what appears to be Takariko.
Our KKS get so little coverage that its nice to get even some interviews. I hope Yuumin finally gets the promotion the next time it comes up but the going will be tough since she's not even at the top of the food chain among KKS. She's one of the top unders though and that counts a lot more.
I don't want Hirorin 2.0. Everyone tosses around the phrase "hard work" way too often because that's the most common accepted translation for 頑張る, but that really applies here. You can't deny the work that it takes to learn all the stages and multiple positions within each song, as well as multiple types of songs. I'm glad that she got a position on Jungle Radio, but this type of hard work should be rewarded more often... maybe with more training or something, because she's clearly proven that she's capable of putting in the effort it takes to get good at something. --- That interview didn't come off well for her at all, lol. She just talks about how she gets angry and has a foul mouth
I thought that. Makes you wonder if the reason she hasn't been promoted is because of an attitude problem that we don't get to see. Second part of the interview http://www.entamenext.com/news/detail/id=501 It seems her mum is quite pushy, almost as if she's living vicariously through Yuumin, quite the Tiger mom.
Yuumin was the only Jungle Radio personality that didn't "graduate" so they're at least letting her try to get some more exposure. I think its going to be really hard for her. If we're going to be coldhearted about this, next in line for promotion are probably: Jo (duh), Natsu (future star), Chiho (sales), Maichi (age-related), Megumin (talent) and then a scrum at the bottom. Yuumin, Rurina and Miiki are, for better or worse, the forgotten 2nd gens right now.
In your list, I'd put her somewhere around Natsu, somewhere before or after. Being capable of doing multiple songs, multiple styles, multiple stages is one hell of a feat. (We're talking about Uuka doing ONEW after how great she was in Faint, well, Yuumin did both.) And it's not like her performances are bad either, they're executed quite well. I dunno, I think if she has the effort, then management should be doing a better job directing her effort at more fruitful endeavors. Effort is the hardest quality to find in a person.
As I've linked the previous 2 pieces, here is the 3rd part of the interview. http://www.entamenext.com/news/detail/id=502 This one focuses on school, and talks about the kenkyuusei, and how she feels about still being one.
For a long time Jo has been my KKS oshimen. Since I saw this new KKS stage, Yuumin is. She's a nice dancer (well, Ishida is a name for good dancers), and despite she has been a kenkyuusei for 3 years, she never gave up and is still working really hard. I only wish her the best.
i will never get why NMB management still doesn't promote the 3 2nd gens, like is 4 years not enough, TF????
Wow, didn't realize she was a KKS until about a month ago. And that she's been a 2nd gen member all this time. Congrats to her for making Team N! Also, didn't know there was a member in OOO48 who was part Vietnamese.
