oh man, i was trolling tokyo with REARY on my last trip there
like i was introduced to this one akb fan from my friend who wasn't a fan at all...

anyway i used to not like her but then i started to.
i really don't like her idol/diva-like image but i like the one that's playful and screws up a lot. we don't get much of that nowadays but when we do it's golden!

It sems to me that the whole diva image thing is overstated. Not being in Japan and not speaking much Japanese yet may affect my opinion, but she doesn't seem like much of a diva to me. She seems very humble and down to earth in most of the clips I have seen. She just has a natural beauty which makes her shine and she looks fabulous in anything. I think that creates a perception that she must try hard to present this image. But while I am sure she tries to look her best, I think most of it just comes naturally.

Having said that, I will agree that I prefer the playful, funny side of Tomochin to the fashion runway side. She is even cuter when we get to see that human side of her and get to see her having fun.

Yes, she's stylish and fashionable, but I think she's quite vulnerable inside. When she's with the other members, she doesn't behave like a diva.
