I am way late to celebrate Karin-chan's birthday, but suddenly got interested in it when I was thinking about Sayuringo Gundan. I thought I remembered they got together just recently and did find out that it was for Karin-chan's birthday. Karin's english is decent. I shouldn't have been surprised. I wonder how Yuuri's is... LOLz!

Why'd they end up separated in the underground? What's the story of the closed market they went to? I guess you'll have to watch the video!

 

The closed market is Borough Market which they visited earlier and where they had fish and chips. I'm pretty sure it closes on New Year's Day, maybe that's when she was there at the end of the video. I've no idea though why she and Yuuri got separated.

Yes Karin's English in her video is pretty decent. I met her at HS at Makuhari Messe in May 2019 just before she graduated (which is one reason why I'm interested in her vlog, not just that she's visiting my country's capital city!) but she didn't try and speak any English with me. Maybe she's been learning it more recently?

Anyway it was fun for me seeing London through the eyes of Japanese (ex-) idols!

 

At 9:24 it says December 27 and they said something about having another day, so they probably were there on December 27-28.
I see by the end they got the "full tourist experience"

In the video she and Yuuri take a train journey to Gloucester Cathedral where they see the corridors used for Hogwarts School scenes in the Harry Potter movies (fun fact - they would have passed my home on the train, it's beside the railway line about 50 km from London ).

It seems to be the third and final day of their stay, and if they arrived on Dec 26th then there were train strikes that day which would probably explain their longer and more difficult journey involving the stairs on the Underground. Also AFAICS some shops at Borough Market were closed on the 27th but I still don't know how they got separated from each other?

 

It was a great vlog from Karin-chan. Love seeing her travel. I especially am grateful that Yuttan was her companion. Hopefully when she travels, she'll do another vlog, and hopefully, she brings another suika member along (*cough* *cough* Nanase).

Since they were always wearing Harry Potter regalia, I wonder if Karin had planned an HP pilgrimage? It would make sense especially since Karin's quite an otaku herself.

 

Yuuri-san is always good for variety show laughs. . .what was it she said in the Nogieigo episode (32) to the guy (Adam?) who was the "Player" character? "I DON'T SPEAK"!!!!

 

Their trip didn't end in London, now they're in Paris!

However this video just shows them arriving at the airport, having a meal and checking in at their hotel. From the preview of the next part it looks like they'll be visiting Disneyland Paris.

I love Yuuri's posing for Karin's camera at the hotel check-in at 6:15 . (Incidentally Karin spells her name to the receptionist in Romaji as 'Itoh'.)
