I sure hope you don’t mean current MM. Personally, cheap or not it looks done well and a music video doesn’t need to be super flashy and multiple sets. 3 is literally great and more than groups like MM has had in literally years.

 

But LVER MV was basically 1 studio set. It looks the their Japanese debut MV cost more than the Korean one. Which is a surprised since Kpop MV's are more flashy than Jpop ones in general. With that said though I hope their next Korean single have a super elaborate MV .

Budget wise Suki to Iwasetai looks like it got a higher budget than La Vie en Rose. Don't let those filters fool you.

Suki to Iwasetai even looks more expensive than Twice's Japanese debut mv.

 

Yeah but the editing and the art direction were much better. It feels more artsy. They may have used one studio setting but they shot the girls from different angles. This mv just features wide/dance duo and close up shots.

The Korean debut MV was done by VM Project yet looks cheaper than usual VM Project's works. (Compare La Vie en Rose to Black Pink's Whistle or Tiffany's Teach You.) So, this may be really Ninagawa in budget.

While K-pop MV usually shot in 1 studio, they spend quite a sum on set decoration. This one shot in 3 location but not much decoration so, I doubt it's much more expensive.

If you mean TT, I think you will be shocked by how much they spent to create those fake pool and drive-in theater. The set of One More Time does look expensive.

Gokigen sayonara should be the a-side.
like every other akb songs, the gems are in the B-sides

 

It might be the ploy to motivate the fan to buy the single (or even to go to the concert) since the B-side is not promoted and only being perform during certain event (like concert).
