Sadly, yes. K-entertainment world is very cruel -especially for those who dubbed negatively. So CJ/OTR/Swing have to work harder to make IZ*ONE/X1 being acknowledged by the industry excecutive again.

Would be better if GDA didn't nominate IZ*ONE and X1 with such reason, but I think the nomination was based from sales so it's just "formality". Also, YG Artist (which got their name "bad" because of the agency lol) got nominated -even AKMU and Jennie got Bonsang award.

At least IZ*ONE's situation is slightly better since they have Japan activity -they could be big like T-ara in China if AKS handle them properly. X1 is more severe since not only getting excluded by the industry excecutive, but also getting pressure to disband from butthurt fans *cough*jinhyukandmingyufangirls*cough*
(Okay, IZ*ONE also have same pressure to disband, but mostly from anti-Japan Knetz)

Well, AKMU, Jennie, EXO and MC the MAX didn't attend GDA but they still won Bonsang award so

 

I'm sorry but they aren't a fraudulent group. The only way they could be fraudulent was if they did the wrong doing. None of them were involved with the deed. It was all the PD and some of his workers. IZ*ONE is taking the heat for something they have zero control over. All they did was work hard the whole time. Saying they are fraudulent and saying they are the result of someone else's fraudulence are two very different things. Honestly they deserve all their awards. They could have bombed right out the gate. However they didn't, they flourished. Everyone was saying "are they really a rookie group?!?!" when La Vie En Rose came out. Two or three months in, they were already looking like a 2-3 year group. That is a lot of hard work and it's a shame that GDA wants to ban them after they already nominated them knowing full well what happened. They took advantage of the public support of the group to put eyes on their event. That is no less shameful than what the PD did.

 

Get rid those undeserving member first then you can called others shameful. Those rigged members enjoying luxury that is not supposed to be for them while the left out trainees drown in debt. That is no less shameful as the PD's did? Those rigged member is just attention seeker with no big heart.

 

We don’t know which members were not supposed to be there and I’m pretty sure they don’t either. So what are you talking about? At least some members of the group would have gotten on votes. Probably most of them.

 

There are STILL IZ*One haters sitting around here giving their unasked for two cents? If the group is so fraudulent & undeserving, why are you following them in their own thread then?

Regardless of the true list, there are going to be trainees who lost out and will drown in debt. You going to champion their 'justice' and them too?
I have to question your objectivity and sense of justice on the matter. Appears to have an agenda (or vendetta) to pursue.

@lilwisper is right. What they achieved after formation is their own merit and is an established fact with evidence
(unless you plan to launch allegations that all the rankings, wins, sales number, etc are also a 'scam' with the latest scandals hitting the K-pop scene)

It's sad when others have to pay for someone else's wrong doing. I mean this for the trainees that did and did not get in. All they did was work hard to learn.

Yes, but that's normal situation in K-music industry because idols usually get their payment quarterly after agency (read: Swings) sort out profits from physical and digital sales, merchandise and concert ticket sales. So, if X1 debuted last August, then the members could got their first payment... last December (a.k.a. last week). Read the explanation here

The outcome is horrible, and the comments sections is quite brutal, this is what those peoples are wanted so much, 'kill the kids to punish mnet', yet mnet still doing their things normally, with or without this poor kids on their sides, lol, furthermore, it actually helping mnet by reducing their company burden and long terms damages, since, as long as the group still tied with mnet, they'll keep inflicting damage towards mnet, now the kid is gone and becoming mnet past history, mnet can proceed their image recovery slowly,

all guns are aimed towards the last target, which is IZ*ONE, lol, may god save them, also, sorry towards other peoples who think the eliminated trainees will harvesting the fruit from their hard works in PD shows afterwards, because they won't get anything, all just being clowned by mnet, all these kids that joins 4 seasons of mnet programs will soon being disposed and becoming one of mnet dark history in past, and guess who still remain standing in the end as winners ?
