I see where you're coming from and I'm also glad they didn't have an abrupt ending due to their scandal and the COVID-19 pandemic but come on.

They are constantly promoted as Japanese-Korean girl group. Compare the Korean album BLOOM*IZ with 12 original songs to the Japanese album Twelve with 5 original songs out of 13 songs total. At their Korean concerts, they barely perform any Japanese songs, (or none at all, like with Oneiric Theater) and at their Japanese concerts, they still perform roughly half of their songs if not more in Korean.

I enjoy what they're putting out and giving us, and I appreciate that they're hardworking but you can't deny that they're catering A LOT MORE towards K-pop fans than J-pop fans.

 

I think it’s funny that this group is two years old and might disband next year, and people are still trying to figure out what type of group they are lol

 

Well, I already expressed my thoughts and feelings. If you think it's ridiculous, fine, it's your opinion. You have yours and I have mine. I didn't attack/offend anyone so I don't regret what I said. Despite this, I still like this group and their music and nothing can change how much I've enjoyed following and stanning IZ*ONE so far. That's all thank you for reading.

@jheadz ikr hopefully nobody complaints about 'noisy' or 'weird sounds' on the bgm later like in the previous works, their outfits is perfect, the mechanical production sounds good, only need to listen to the lyrics that aki p wrote for them this mix production method might actually work perfectly for them

 

Idk, but in my headphone I still can hear the "noisy" sounds.

 

@Lookman i don't know what 'noisy ' sounds you've heard, but it obviously that the members voices are very clear and above the bgm

I honestly don't understand what issues people have with the sounds in their Japanese releases. I really don't hear anything. I never listen with headphones these days as I'm mostly at home due to COVID, but I don't understand what issues people have with the mixing.

Is it that they're annoyed that multiple girls are singing/rapping at the same time? Can anyone be specific what exactly is wrong?

 

The sound mixing is distorted sorta. You can compare this with Gokigen Sayonara on STI and HEART*IZ.

their new song 'Beware' ( . . . ) cheerful and cute, it probably could be much better with a MV later (hopefully it will), i'll be looking forward to their side tracks instead, after having 1.4 years since their last released 'vampire' on Sep 25, 2019 , this the best song that aki p could give for izone first and could be their last full japanese album? sry, i think he should apologize, i agreed with netizen, sakura and hitomi previous works are much better, rip aki p

I find the song a bit bland. Maybe it'll grow on me

How people can prefer this song over Buenos Aires is a mystery to me but everyone's got a different taste

 

ikr, BA problems was only caused by their production technical team when they do recording & sounds mixing in the MV , it was perfectly flawless in live performances, i ranked it 2rd after TTI, and so far, 1st for live performanes for all their jpnese main songs

 

After the mv teaser dropped I didn't really have high expectations and after hearing it I was right. Nothing wrong with the song it's just underwhelming for me. But it could be a grower

 

Sounds the most K-pop-ish out of all of them. I don't know if that was what the composer(Miki Watanabe who also did Bueno Aires)was going for.. But it sounds very B-side.
Looking forward to the MV tho looks like it'll be hella cute

 

Tbh, it is pretty good. It just because of they played on radio. It will be a shame if they release the MV that sounded like that.

anyway, I don't like the rap-like-part. It sounds so weird to me, buenos aires rapping part is much better I think
