There's an addition, this thread isn't all about which members you vote and how much, etc. This thread is also the place for us to share our thoughts about the sousenkyo, all responses will be allowed as long as the responses are appropriate or not crossing the line. Anyway, let's hope the best for the JKT48 girls and us! Enjoy the sousenkyo guys!

 

The third gen is participating? It seems a bit unfair to them since they won't be eligible until after the audition, so the other members will have a few days head start on them. Not to mention the fact that the fans won't know who they are... [wonder]

Also what is this mobile method of voting people are referring to?

 

According to the official site, yes they are participating but fans can only vote them after 15th March (when their final audition will be held). Not only the 3rd gen, the kenkyuusei members are able to be voted after 15th March too, idk why about this one.
But, FYI, there are so many fanbases that will probably support the 3rd gen members since they're actually popular in the reality for example Michelle Christo, Rachel Florencia, Milenia Christien, and Andela Yuwono.

For mobile method, they mean that fans can only vote after they download the single or probably just Flying Get from the messaging service in Indonesia. For this method, the voting period is from 16th March to 22nd March. So, this method won't be available from 5th March. That's all I know.

 

Are overseas fans allowed to vote?

The election campaign videos have been posed on the official Youtube channel. Haruka's made me laugh: "I like the food here!"

I think overseas fans are allowed to vote but since the methods of voting are maybe really hard for overseas fans, I think the safest and easiest way to vote is by becoming an OFC or coming to the theatre itself (but they will have to book airplane tickets, buy the ticket(s) for the theatre, etc. Which is actually a waste of money imo) [notme]

 

Usually guys from JKT48stuff will do some project for overseas fans... We will inform you if there is any further info...or you can follow their twitter for aome updates... @JKT48stuff

These are the things that has been going on among the fans about the Voting Mechanism when we give our vote through the konbini cds, none of these things have been confirmed by the official yet.

a. With 1 voting card you will have 3 votes but you have to choose different members to vote.
b. With 1 voting card you will have 3 votes and you can vote all 3 for the same member.

The counting mechanism, well this one is confusing.
1. if you're using your voting card and voted for 3 different members, each of them will have 1 vote.
2. if you're using your voting card and voted all 3 for the same member then the member that you have voted will have only 1 vote.
3. if you're using your voting card and voted all 3 for the same member then the member that you have voted will also have 3 votes in her favor.

I think JOT should make official announcement regarding this matter ASAP.

 

If I'm not mistaken, then if I turn out to be mistaken then please correct me real soon, the OFC members aren't allowed to vote 1 girl only (so they have to choose 3 members to divide their votes, just like what you pointed out in no. 1 and 2). But, for those who get the serial number by purchasing the single at the store will be able to vote for 1 (or up to them) girl and counted 3 votes. It's confusing for me as well. They should've given the rules and explain it to the public at least 1 month prior to the sousenkyo, imo. Or maybe just follow how AKB48 does the sousenkyo in Japan :/

 

The version that i got about OFC members are...
They are allowed to use the three votes on their oshimen (one girl) and they have one bonus vote that they must pick for one of each member in all team ( J,KIII, and KKS)
So confusing honestly

As for the regular fans...they may use all three votes on one girl...

From The Alfa Group CD ver. :

- Go to the official sousenkyou web page
- Click on "Masukkan Suara"
- Enter 16 SN 'n then click "Lanjut Ke Memilih Halaman"
- There's 3 empty slots that u can fill with 3 the same member name or 3 different member names '
- After that click "Pilih"

From Theater ver. :

- Go to the official sousenkyou web page
- Click on "Masukkan Suara"
- Enter 16 SN 'n then click "Lanjut Ke Memilih Halaman"
- There's 3 slots ( but not empty ). Each slot refer to each Team.
1st Slot for Team J
2nd slot for Team KIII
3rd slot for Trainee
U can only choose one slot 'n cannot choose all of the slot like above method
- After that, click "Pilih"

From Official Fans Club ( OFC ) ver :

- Go to the official sousenkyou web page
- Click on "Kandidat"
- On that page, u can see all of the participant campaign poster.
- And like Theater ver., OFC only can choose one so click on one member
- And then Login/Sign In to give the vote
- After that, the page will change to vote page 'n click "Pilih"

*Note : OFC don't need 16 digits SN to enter the web page

Well guys I hope this would never happen again in the future. JOT seems really unprepared for the sousenkyo. They haven't done distributing the CDs to the 4 convenient stores up until now (I haven't bought for myself too). I have checked in 7 places and they said they didn't have the CDs (it was on March 7 anyway so...). They said on their official twitter account that the distribution will be done and available in those 4 convenient stores on March 12. What makes me feel annoyed is why did they release the single on March 5?

They always manage to do something wrong for every major releases and not to mention how weird their promotional strategy is. Like, they don't want an increasing sales, also rely too much on core fans. Does it that hard to follow JPN48 way of promoting things? Or they just one of lazy company? I don't know...
