I just watched episode 18 of Rena to Ohatsu-chan featuring Sayaka-chan. I have to say...I adored her before, but even more than that, now I admire her musical talent.

It's no secret she's good at playing the guitar. And in a Doko E episode, she mentioned playing jazz from a young age. So definitely very musically-inclined from the get-go. I believe she even mentioned to Higashi about wanting to buy PC to compose music digitally....probably in one of the extra segments in the electrical store, if not the actual episode.

During the lyrics writing/brainstorming session (in Ohatsu-chan) she seem...very on point, and somewhat serious. I always imagine her as this kinda mischievous prankster chara (from the recent Nogichuu B-News ep). Her word sense seem good also. I'm fascinated by the whole songwriting process - the sensei is cool and laidback too. The resulting song, 'Shujinkou' sounded nice and fitting for the show. Congrats on your first song, Sayaka-chan!

She got a role in a drama! Omedetou!

She will play in drama, entitled "Toritateya Honeys" (Debt Collector Honeys). It will be broadcasted on HikariTV starting from March 26th at 23:00 JST. And, Yumiki Nao also will be played in it as well. Congrats for both of you!

Today I just got a chance seeing her singing with Reno chan on Nogi Skit. I just realized that she has a Nice voice (and it's so comfortable to listen). I think Sayaka chan has the best singing skill ( & voice) among 4th gen.

I recognized Sayaka chan before , but this was my first time that I wanna know more about her. It's quite surprised me that she's not selected in Nogi's 26th senbatsu, but at the same time I'm also not surprised that Rei & Mayutan were selected in this senbatsu over Sayaka. However, Sayaka chan is still young, I'm sure that there's still a lot of chances for her to grow (in terms of Fandom & Aura). I will cheer for her until that day!!

In my opinion, 4th gen nogi are so competitive (in terms of popularity), except (kaki & Sakura). The popularity of 4th members still not far away from each other. Besides, they are still so young which I'm sure that everything is possible ( As this really reminds me of Asuka's case, she has been in Nogi for many years, but just got a chance for senbatsu & Center for these past few years).

 

asuka got her chance because of fans to be honest. of course her personality also plays important role in gaining fans. push without fans approval a.k.a HS sell out slot will gonna bring hates to girls especially in nogi, HS sell out means approval. although i dont fond of endou but seeing fans in japan loves her, nothing can be done to replace her with other 4th gen girls for now.

 

that being said her HS sales are pretty good compared to most of the rest of the 4th gen, tbh I expected her to make senbatsu last single, so I wouldn't be surprised if she made it next.
