I wasn't around while most ex members were active in their music careers, but I would attribute a lot of that failure to the lack of new releases. Acchan only released one single a year and hasn't released a new single since 2014. Her 2016 album had three new songs and I think the main song was only released to promote her drama. Takamina also only released one album and a one single after graduation, both shortly after that and nothing new in over three years now. Tomochin has been releasing very regularly, every year since 2011, but by no means as much as Sayanee.

I would also argue that Iwasa Misaki's solo music is the most steady and, within its genre, the most successful.

One thing that I think will help Yukirin's career is that she's already doing lots of solo tours already. Sayanee has been touring her albums since the first one was released, and Yukirin has had more solo tours and concerts in the last two years than AKB48 itself, it feels like (I didn't actually count it). Something that stands in her way is that she continuously sings from Team B stages (2007-2015), French Kiss releases (2010-2014) or songs from her solo singles (2013). That means that her songs are all quite old. I couldn't see any setlist from any of her concerts from the past 2 years where she performed her 2018 single Sokkenai Kimi.

She needs a steadier solo discography for when she graduates, or else she'll keep singing Yokaze no Shiwaza, Jealousy Punch and Temodemo Namida. She'll quickly lose relevancy as an ex AKB member that way.

Yes, I saw a story about this earlier on Mantan Web and but the article suddenly got deleted! I then found one on Aunone so I screenshotted it in case it got deleted which indeed it also did. I didn't post earlier because I wondered if it was a speculative news story which was incorrect. I've put the screenshot in the spoiler below, basically it says that Yukirin has transferred to King Records and will release a single CD on 3/3 called 'CAN YOU WALK WITH ME'. However under the circumstances this information needs to be treated as completely unverified.
