Kato Minami (Katomina) / 1st Generation

As far as I know, Katomina and Rikachan have never been besties at all. It's more of a work relationship although there're episodes of them hanging out with Katomina's father, etc. I know that Rikachan is very close to Mofuchan, Ayutarou and Hinatan. I don't really know who Katomina is close to tbh.
Even though, if you follow them closer, you'd know that they've been hanging out together a couple of weeks ago, going shopping and to a beauty salon. Also they spent Katomina's birthday together because they were in Tokyo.

Latest Road to WIP features Katomina (along with Rikachan and Noeppi). Glad to see we finally have footage of her training as well (meaning this is after the cast was off as well).

It was Katomina's first time because she's turned 18 just now (I'm not sure but I think that's the rule for ANN). Rikachan was one time last year because she was already 19.

That's the rule for ANN, only members over 18 years old can participate. It has to do with Japanese work laws for the entertainment industry though, people under 16 years old can work as far as 21:00, people under 18 can work as far as 00:00, and those over 18 can work at every hour. And because ANN starts at 01:00, i guess thats it.

 

Also looks like some of the members took Part in the Minamiuonuma City Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival) (Katomina being one of them)

When Kitarie says Katomina is the NGT's weirdest member, it's true (most people just don't know it).
She doesn't know about common things that people knows like different foods, TV shows (she says that she likes Ame Talk but doesn't know about its contents) and she's never watched to any Ghibli animes (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc).
So she wouldn't know the difference between the themes of Indiana Jones and Back to the Future despite doing a time travel setting. Muramoto gave her another chance to sing the right theme but she kept singing Indiana Jones's.

 

Here's an interesting part taken from a SR stream she did some time ago, which I thought deserved a full translation.
English subtitles can be toggled by pressing on the player's button. Some liberties were probably taken, maybe not.

Lol I think she actually fumbled on that play but she somehow got by it by her kawaiiness airplane movements XD
