Honestly, that right there goes to show that RikaMina is the NGT48 version of WMatsui, SayaMilky, and SakuRuppi. Now if Management can FINALLY realize this, then we are in business (One of the reason why I Katomina to rank high in the election this year).

I do remember Katomina (during a showroom if I remember rightly) that she was frustrated about being passed over for center, but she said she wasn't giving up and will continue to fight for it (pretty much showing why I love her, cause she is a fighter).

 

They should have made the first single a RikaMina wCenter not only bcs of that RikaMina episode but also it's a trend in SGs and i don't want to lose that trend lol

Once I said that I wanted a RikaMina center for the 1st single and a rotating center system from 2nd single on, because I see the two of them as the NGT's Top 2, with Ogiyuka, Mahohon and Hinatan soon after them (that's my particular vision).

I'm a late starter in NGT. I knew Rikachan first, by watching to her Showroom backups months after SSK. At that time, she was already in High Tension senbatsu and I thought it was weird because Katomina had ranked in SSK and wasn't there. And Katomina was out in most of the things that came after that, which made me believe that she was being prepared for the NGT's 1st single but again, she wasn't, and I honestly have no clue why they're doing this.

Particularly, I don't trust SSK. It has the worst of the both worlds: if you rank down or low, you're doomed and if you rank up or high, it doesn't mean that there's a guarantee of progress for the following year, you just got a generic MV in the next single. :/ Some benefited members had good rankings but not all who had good rankings were benefited and we see fans complaining about Muto Tomu, Dasu, Team 8's Kuranoo Narumi and Katomina being ignored by management.
So, it's important for Katomina to rank up, but at the same time, what expectations do we have even if she does it? She will eventually center a NGT single sometime but I hope it doesn't take too long like Haruppi for HKT single.

If someone asks me if I'm totally happy with Rikachan's center, the answer is "no". I'd be totally fine if Katomina (or Okappa) were the center. Particularly I think Katomina is the face of Niigata. Sure all the visibility Rikachan got is great and it's not that I don't like NGT with Rikachan as center, I don't like Rikachan having to be center. What attracted me to her was her unconventional character but now she has to hold back her funny side to behave as a center (luxury complaint? maybe). If you watch to NGT in TV shows like Smile Stadium or Buzz Rhythm, Katomina is having lots of fun while Rikachan is just sitting there like a puppet.

What I like in Katomina is that she's actually very funny and fun, I like everytime she shows her less orthodox and more weirdo side. She was so funny in that RikaMina concert. The only thing that worries me is that it turned out to be very predictable that when Katomina shows up, it'll be an acrobat or baton demonstration. And she's the one who's concerning about it the most and in that individual PV, she said (at least what I got from the short version) that she'll go through new challenges without relying only on baton/acrobats. I hope she can surprise us, because she has the potential.
