I find it hard to keep up in the big thread, mostly because either every member gets mentioned and it's hard to filter which members interest me and which don't, or they only mention certain ones and none of my oshis are SSK Senbatsu, so they often get overlooked. Hence, I often go and check out their individual thread.

 

I am still baffled how could Katomina ended up teaming with Mirurun and Nako. They seem unrelated, not known being good friend, being in the same group (NMB, NGT, HKT) nor the same age group.

 

^ Surprisingly it seems that the unit was mainly managed by Katomina. She was already asking Mirurun to team up when she got an invite from Nako, then they decided to go as a trio. If wasn't for Katomina, the unit would have been different, because Mirurun and Nako didn't even have each other's line contact. Also, the long unit name was clearly because of Suzukake Nanchara as it was a Janken winning song and they wanted a unit name longer than that. The unit name has 111 (japanese) characters over 76 of Suzukake ... According to Katomina, the time that the MC spent reading it is already a win to appeal the unit. (from last episode of Port de NGT)

@atsukoD Unrelated, really? At the very least, Katomina and Miru know each other since their job in Tofu Prowrestling and even talked about each other in their respective SNS. They are also the ones who went through extra training lessons for their roles (part of the reason we don't see Katomina up on Showroom very often lately is indeed because she is still busy with individual training to this day), so you can rest assured they had plenty of time to get acquainted.

@Cisalpine88, thanks for the explanation. I don't follow them closely and thought they are not that close. Plus I don't know much Japanese language.

wow katomina, idk how to describe it, she really "bloomed" suddenly. Her like eyes have a glow to them. If you compare her on their debut stage when she centred Hebirote, they seem like different people. I've been recognising she has been polishing herself slowly, like wearing that really pretty lipstick colour on shows and daily wear (it really stands out in the 48 family too).

Since Katomina admires Takamina so much and isn't in talk for NGTs center anymore, I would love to see her as the next NIII captain. Otherwise, if we happen to have a shuffle soon, I would like her to have a kenning in a sporty/active team of the sister groups (maybe Team K or an SKE Team [not too fussy about either of those]).

But I think she'd make a nice captain
