It is my first time coming to Taiwan. I saw the video of HKT48 Taiwan concert and it seems exciting and fun. I also heard that there is a lot of good food here which I am looking forward to. I believe Sayaya is a very potential center for the future. She has member's and fan's respect, AFAIK. Her cuteness and skill are balanced. It's quite rare that such a kawaii member also has a good dance skill (IMHO most skillful members are normally categorized as 'cool' and not 'kawaii', such as Tanochan, Tomu, Sayanee, etc) . If she is more dorky she will be a good successor of Yuko, because I always think that Yuko is a kawaii type

SSK Video Translation:
Hello everyone. I'm Kawamoto Saya, known as Sayaya, from Hokkaido and on AKB48 Team 4.
I decided to enter myself into the single senbatsu SSK this year, just as I did last year.
As for the outfit I'm wearing, this is my outfit from the Potato Issues Research Center (TL Note: the initials are JMK in Japanese) where they let me become one of their researchers. I wore this outfit at the Janken Tournament as well and got third place.
I am deeply attached to this outfit, which is why I chose it.

I was chosen as a senbatsu member for both Kibouteki Refrain and BwT, and learned a lot from the more veteran members. That's why I'd like to make the most of what I've learned and, together with my fans, I want to make my goal to rank at this year's SSK. I'm from Hokkaido, so I'll do my best with Dosanko power! (TL Note: Dosanko means someone from Hokkaido.) I hope you'll support me!

 

Personally I wish in general, not just from this vid, that Sayaya appeals less on the Hokkaido point... Sure she probably gets some nice support from people from Hokkaido and it's a nice "identity" point to distinguish her, but it's not really helping her get support outside of Hokkaido I feel. Like I support Sayaya because of Sayaya herself and not because she's from Hokkaido
