I don't follow the 48 groups, so if you don't mind, can you elaborate? How did they obliterate the first gen?

first gen is team SII, second gen is team NII. For the third sousenkyo, Team NII ranked 9 members in senbatsu, the top 3 are beyond 100k vote.

Agreed. SNH is one good example, though we are definitely seeing this from SSK perspective, and for that, NII fans should get the credit instead.

    I guess we're getting oot fast. :^^;:

A bit sudden and off topic, but there's Keyakizaka46 Special Program airing on Space Shower TV Plus right now.
AKB Taiwan Clubs is streaming it, you could watch it there.

Thanks, kyuudere. I missed it, but I'm now madly searching. Meanwhile, here is a report with lots of screencaps.

In other news, Yurizaka46, the group whose dance covers of Sakamichi hits have been semi-officially recognized by Aki-P, has come out with their version of SekaAi.

if the video does not show watch the video here

No, they didn't travel to Hokkaido. They found windmills nearer Tokyo. The group's 14 members were supplemented by seven friends. Each person is identified with a member of K46 in the YouTube "show more" area. Their leader/centre, "有香溺愛" (Yuuka Dekiai?, "Doting Yuuka") directed the video. No, she doesn't look much like Techi, lol. I believe they say they hand-made their own outfits.

If you haven't seen it, their famous version of SaiMajo is here. 786,000 YouTube views. Their homepage is here.

Overall it's good for Hiragana Keyaki, even though the sales went down a bit (from 4 slots last round to 3 slots this time). From 25 slots available for Hiragana Keyaki (in pairing), they able to sell 11 slots (44% sales rate).

It's a shame that fans still haven't interested in Ushio Sarina, she's the only one who hasn't got her slot sold out (even though paired with other girls). She only has two slots for next round. :gavel:

The way the less popular members are selling out is a good demonstration of the principle that although Techi and some other top members may sell the group, the group also sells its members.

Sarina will become popular once more people actually see her. She's quiet but beautiful and charming. And I believe she's a dancer. But I think her Sadako sidelock may have to go.

Is current Hiragana popularity going: Saitou - Kakizaka - Katou? Saitou reminds me of her "friend" Zuumin in being cute, professional and determined.

    FINALLY MY COPY ARRIVED TODAY!!!!!!

... Seriously... 10 days to arrive Mexico City from Japan... THEN 14 DAYS to bring it to my city... The mexican post service is as bad as my friends told me... (Not use the better mailing service because the price)

PD: THANKS BREXIT, that rise on the Yen went up the shipping cost by 800 yen compared for what it cost for SaiMajo...

Neutral on H. Keyaki sales. It was just testing the surface(And possibly pointing the one Management will likely airdrop later).

What remaining is Dana, Nijika, Aoi(new slot)and Fu.
Whatever happens, they're selling just fine compared with other groups back-row member HS sales. May things stay that way for next single.:awesome:

Not quite up to Silent Majority, but still good, and up over last week. And it seems that total sales of SekaAi through four weeks are now greater than total sales of SaiMajo over its 22 weeks. Interesting to compare with trajectories of Nogi songs. Early songs and Harujion rose from 3d to 4th week, too. Thanks for posting data, @ForrestFuller.

I feel ya... Mine took almost a month to arrive too after being held by customs for 2 weeks, then another week at the post. I even had to pick it up at the post office today and pay for some ridiculous tax orz

Reading how users here got their copy made me remember something I wanted to ask about: On the internet, you can order a new copy for a regular prize, or copies that have been opened only once for a fracture of the cost (a full set of the four types can be below 500 Yen). These once-opened copies don't include the trading card/photograph which is added to each new copy but otherwise is exactly the same thing. At the same time, I saw twitter posts about people buying about 100 copies likely for themselves.
My hypothesis is the following one: Some people are enthusiastic enough that they either want all the trading cards or at least all of their favorite members that they're actually going as far as buying so many copies that they have a high chance of getting a large part of the desired trading cards and enough spare ones to trade them off or sell them on auctions (which can turn out to at least make a bit up for what you pay as a 3-piece set of popular members can easily sell for 4000 Yen or even more).

Well, the question is, am I right about this or is there a different reason for why there are so many cheap copies available?

For SekAi, I decided to get a bargain set of all four types (without trading cards) and as a little extra, I ordered a few photographs of Fuu-chan which is pretty convenient because they're a total bargain as well. From an economic point of view, having a oshimen with low popularity pays off.
