I agree, it may be as simple as that. And if it is, it's a good thing.
To be honest, it's fun just to think about it and theorize a bit, lol. When things are left half said, one gets more interested, and maybe that's the point.
But maybe I should start posting in the conspiracy thread.

After the recent radio show in which Techi said she went to her first-ever parent-teacher session and was roundly attacked by both (and said she realized she had done things that justified it), there is a bit of speculation that her marks were so bad she had to be pulled back from performing so she could concentrate on catching up at school. Certainly, her previous description of her attitude and of talking back in class, and the odd mention of terrible marks or not even answering the questions, makes one think this might even be possible.

Nothing is simple here. They may have pulled her back (after getting full value from her in the single, the MV, and the TV commercials) but we still just don't know why they wanted her to take a hiatus: physical, mental, professional, personal, or other problems? I hope it's just another big project but I really have no idea.

She is still the main centre as long as they keep putting her there in MVs, it seems to me. But others are getting their chance to shine in performance, right now. This week, Memi said it had been about a month since she had been with Techi.

i kinda of feel bad for Yuichanzu subbing for Techi on TV performance. They did got some screentime on TV but Are they satisfied as Techi's sub ? the PR for 6th single was done and i hope they wont do this again for upcoming single.

Third week sales reported from Oricon as 33,515, making a total of 922,218.

The second week was the highest all-time second week for either Sakamichi group. This is the second-highest third week after Nigemizu (37,903).

A beautiful song, beautifully played. I think this is one of the best Keya songs... certainly my favorite Techi solo.

Techi's vocals have definitely improved since Parco. A beautiful ballad indeed. I wish Yoake no Kodoku had its own, full dedicated MV.

there are so many idols with student status.. they were fine..
if school was her real problem...

to be the root cause of her group cancelling budokan live
to miss Group 2nd anniversary, where she centered all major song
    to completely eliminate fans service..

yet the sales was still outstanding.
    that's keyakizaka magic..
maybe people actually likes complicated things like keyakizaka..

i use to understand their charm points.
but now it was just soo much lighter and funnier to watch things like nogi46hourtv..

    Obviously each situation is different
i don't work for any of the groups involved, so i can't speak to any case you mentioned. i was just stating the reason given for the budokan incident

Different how? I doubt her arm injury is as bad as Nanamin who had to leave the rehearsal on a stretcher.

different situations. there is too many scenarios to break them down for you. Musical acts have cancelled shows because of injuries before, and have continued on despite injuries. The people involved make the decision they thInk is best.

Only the third-best 4th week for Keyaki (after Fukyouwaon and SaiMajo). Thirteen Nogi 4th weeks have been better. Are sales slowing down? Nothing is certain, but there is still plenty of chance to get to a million, especially with the lives coming up for publicity.

On Billboard, and in reality, they have sold more than a million already: 1,005,840, after a 20,762 week. But Oricon is the standard.
