After watching this week, Katenai. I'm really impress by Kobayashi's impersonation. I used to not paid much attention to her causing playing guitar is way to common and she's very quiet. Now she finally have a new skill which shines.

Yuipon's solo mv is my fave among all bonus pvs. :3

Idk why but I just really love the "rawness" of her voice. She's not the best singer in terms of techniques (I'll give that one to the other Yui) but the tone of her voice is just so much soothing.

On Sunday, Pon wrote what many think was the best member blog post about their first-year anniversary. Here is a translation. She talks about there having been bitter things and painful things over the past year, but says that they were far outweighed by the many happy and enjoyable things. She remembers that she was cool and distant at first, but that now she and all the members can have intimate talks and can say anything to each other. And she looks forward to getting closer with the new members from Hiragana Keyaki. She says they will all keep climbing the slope, and asks for our continued support.

Great new photo. All of a sudden, she's 25.



She says in Thursday's blog post that she went out to a grilled-meat restaurant with her family and Sekai ni wa Ai Shika Nai came on the background music. She was a bit embarrassed, but very pleased.

 

A photo from Aoi's blog today. She says "Pon" always plays guitar and sings by herself before a live. "Cool! Admirable!" She says she sent this photo to Yui and asked if it was okay to post it. Yui replied: "Everyone's always taking hidden photos!"

From the hidden camera TV episode and everything else we read and see, it appears that Pon likes to spend time quietly by herself, in a corner, maybe playing (music or games). I remember her saying around the time that the NogiKoi cellphone dating game came out last summer that she was so engrossed in the game going home on the train that she went six stops too far. She hasn't changed completely since that first training camp gathering shown on KeyaKake where the hosts made fun of her for being all alone at the back of the room.

Yuipon is a gifted young lady. Similar to Hirate, she is a jack of all trades with talents in singing, dancing, acting, music, sports and a likely rich inner life; but she does things her own way and makes no fuss about anything. She's so professional and mature in the way she appears on shows that her normal "entertainment factor" may be a bit low, but she's simply the type who lets her skills speak for her and not words. Yuipon is like a piece of art that is just nice to look at or listen to, which is very promising for her future and possibly a professional musician/artist career. And -with no lewdness included whatsoever- she is known for her beautifully shaped legs as well, and when I look at the gallery above, they are stunning indeed.
I guess as an introvert type, she just has a comparatively low demand for social interaction, but at least she seems to have gotten very close to Zuumin and shares a strong bond with her. Now being fully integrated into the group, her New Year's resolve from back then -"making friends"- has come true.

 

I just posted my translation of Yui's interview with Zuumin in last month's Overture on my blog!

I was a little surprised because it doesn't seem like Yuichanzu are very close to each other in real life or really know a lot about each other.

It went by quickly!

I’ve even changed into my fall clothes. It really is fall now isn’t it 〜

Out of all seasons, fall is my most favorite 〜

The coloring of the clothes carries a relaxed, comfortable feeling

To say the least, it isn’t hot, it isn’t cold – not even allergy problems!
You can really feel the charm of Fall. (　˙-˙　)

It is exactly because fall gives off a light feeling that I love it 〜
