I agree about HKT's situation. The fact that they know openly they're all unpopular. Like even when NMB was the newest group they moved so fast into UG and senbatsu and received a good push, they were never branded as least popular group but rather the new one. HKT's previous management was a huge fail, and Haruppi happened to be tied in this mess, now the new management is trying to establish a new image for them and Haruppi had to pay the price. It's sad but it can't be undone. Let's pray for her in the upcoming election she will prove that she's still able to stand up on her feet without the almost negligible push she got.​

I was talking about the documentary "no flower without rain" which is not released yet. We can catch a glimpse of Haruppi's thought during the after-sasshi-scandal part.

I agree on the fact that HKT previous management was quite dull. Even though they got a very sophisticated theater, they didn't have uber popular members like sayanee and milky to lead the way. But rest assured, things are changing :

-Sasshi is here now. Her popularity is definitively a useful drive for HKT. And I assume she has changed. Before her scandal, all eyes was on her thanks to her incredible 4th spot on the last senbatsu election and her first solo single, as well as her place in Not yet, the most popular sub unit of AKB. Now, she cares about her kohai and genuinely want to walk the road with the girls. Just look at the energy she's putting when she's having her performance, or when she is overwhelmed in joy when the first hkt concert was announced. I WANT to believe she is trying to get along with other HKT members, as a Sempai who lead them to the right way. Maybe this article will get you to my point :
Sasshi's giving advice to her kohai

-Maybe you noticed the new variety show focused on HKT : hyakatta, okedake, and a drama. I'm not counting the countryside coverage which feature some of the members. This will also bring some attention in a good way to the girls. We got some subs thanks to Half hassed subs of the hyakatta show, i strongly advise you to check him out.

-Meru, or the next jurina has arrived. Not only she as the Ace factor, but also drive attention because she is the favorite of Aki-p. Love or hate, it's still attention. And as a said before, it will split the burden of the Ace to haruppi, so she can grow her own way, without being fully denied( SHE IS STILL CENTER).

My only fear is the "sales" parameter. The odds are good for HKT, but we need to turn it into achievement by reaching the 100k line. Or 150k if we are optimistic.

i completely agree. really i dnt find a reason to hate or bash on sasshi for her hkt transfer i mean it's already done and she's benefiting the group so much. hyakkaten couldn't be this hilarious without her she's really trying to make hkt into something special, she's teaching the girls alot about appealing to the fans in unique ways. also she's not even top3 in hkt so ppl shouldn't worry but be thankful.

Sasshi is for HKT48 what Takamina is for AKB48 ; not a center but a leader.

Also, she got plenty of exposure with many variety shows and her solo career. Not being center won't hurt her regained popularity.

^haruppi looks amazing in that picture, she always surprises how she can pull off that hairstyle, it makes her really detectable

I've been thinking lately and i had this crazy idea, what do you think of haruppi getting a double position like milky and jurina?! no matter how much i think about it it sounds really amazing. they couldpromote her to team A after Tomomi graduates or give her Miichan's position in team b. she fits both spots. it's crazy but i hope akimoto would think about it, it feels like haruppi is in the same position as milky a year ago. going to akb will her popularity, self esteem and she will learn a lot.

Definitely. Haruppi lacks the self confidence due to the pressure put on her as a center, just like how it started with Mirukii, now Mirukii's a regular AKB senbatsu with sky rocketing popularity. She needs that just as much as she needs the attention

Since I already posted in my other oshi threads might as well post here. I'm a huge fan of Kodama since the beginning. She has a really appealing presence and stands out so much. I guess it's her hair that's most perfect about her, srsly how can she look so good?

About center, I read what alot of ppl said over at Suki x3 thread and here as well, and I agree. What they're doing is just disgusting. They bring some girl I can't even recognize and dn't find pretty branded as 2nd Jurina, If there's anyone who's a catch it's Haruka. I've always found her such a perfect opportunity, a center who works hard from the very beginning, has extraordinary unique beauty and is such an enthusiastic performer. If anything I love this image. It's from Kohaku, Haruppi lines up after AKB's, SKE and NMB's aces directly, whenever I wanna know who's center all I think of is this photo and it reassures me.

Anyone who's known HKT since the beginning and understands the girls' personalities will know this. There a lot of Kodama fans out there and they're not going to give up

About haruppi being in AKB, I would just love to see it happen. Haruppi would really fit in team A though, cause she's like fresh new talent.

I understand your frustration but if you read this

you understand that this will also help HKT a lot, i still want haruppi to be center but we need the attention Meru brings because she's akimoto's favorite now.

also this is my favorite picture of haruppi, although it's not clear from some handshake event on december, but i love how the huge screen shows haruppi's face by the end of the song, it's just the real highlight
