Kojima Mako (Kojimako) / 14th Generation

There are more information in yesterday Mobile Mail, which led me to believe it's not a closed event of some kind. It might be a pop-up store, actually.

 

While everything looks like this entire Spring Festival is just an excuse to throw grad concert for Mako, well, Senbatsu is Senbatsu (except Tomu)

 

It is the AKB48 segment of the Spring Festival. Her graduation celebration is just a part of it (as I understand); it is not a graduation concert just for her. Given that it is AKB48, they couldn't leave out Yuiyui. In the Spring Festival thread, people are even asking why isn't Moeka there?

 

Your understand is correct, however, I am saying that with everything happening: each stage only get 15 minutes, shorter than the previously held stages event during HS event which are usually 20 minutes; the fact that sister groups only got 30 minutes of main stage while AKB got whoping 75 minutes with the same number of 16 members; the fact that Miichan was there too and Moeka wasn't (it is not a secret that Mako is indifferent to Moeka, due to the fact Mako never got to know her at all; but Mako did adore Yuiyui). All of those make me strongly suspect that for some reason they don't want to organise a 'Kojima Mako Graduation Concert', but try to disguise it as something else.

I don't follow the Spring Festival thread at all, though.

 

Too lazy to dug up the actual IG Story, but yesterday she said that now it's likely we won't know what she will be doing until after her graduation.

 

She has a new instagram wearing a dress from GU. In her PressBlog, she warns against wearing black underwear with it.

It is most likely because it is in Sendai and she still has her final individual HS date on May 6th which will be the target for most fans to send her off. A lot of people that come to national HS will immediately go home instead of waiting until the end. On individual HS, normally you do the send off during the break in between slots, thus there are still a lot of people at the venue. Having said that, if yesterday was her last HS then I'm sure there would be more people sending her off.

 

It's Sendai. I didn't go either because I simply don't have enough money with the May 5-6 HS, May 12 graduation stage, etc. (btw, I am in Osaka not Tokyo)
