    She will hold a fan event in AKB48 Cafe on May 7th.

    Her current schedule, as of April 26th:
    • Apr 27 (tomorrow): Spring Festival/Graduation Ceremony
    • May 1: Pajama Drive Revival Stage
    • May 5-6: Individual HS
    • May 7: Cafe Event
    • May 8: Thumbnail Stage (likely)
    • May 9: RESET Stage (likely)
    • May 12: Graduation Stage (RESET confirmed, according to Komiharu lol)
    • =========================
    • May 19: KCON Girl MC
    • May 25: Fan Meeting @ Sanrio Puroland
    Along with 4 (!) RESET stages in the past week, Mako is definitely enjoying her last weeks in AKB48 doing absolutely everything!

    The days where we still don't know her schedule:
    • May 2: Fully expect Mako to appear though, as it's Juri graduation stage.
    • May 3: Osaka Individual HS. Solo event is possible.
    • May 4: Nothing in particular. Theatre is Team 8.
    • May 10: Nothing in particular. Theatre is unannounced.
    • May 11: Nationwide HS in Hokkaido. Theatre is Harima's graduation stage (Pajama Drive).
    To be honest, at this rate, I won't be surprised if there are more events on those days. There are really no reason for holding Thumbnail stage, IMO, except for it to be Mako's last. And Pajama Drive, well, it's 5000th stage and all, but really, all of the members are very close and even if it is not specifically for Mako, it's will give them change for the last performance together.

    IMO, the only thing left is Tentomu Chu! If there are any event for them to be together, it will be perfect.

    (The only bad thing is that we all don't have enough luck/time/money to enter everything...)

    Okay. The graduation ceremony is over. It's about 40 minutes including the preparation MC.

    It was definitely a miniature graduation concert. But personally, I am satisfied. It's probably the kind of send-off Mako really wanted.

    That was a short but nice and beautiful graduation ceremony. I will surely miss Mako's smile.

    You are aware d’Artagnan was the Hero of the book, right ;)

    Added trivia, completely unrelated, d’Atagnan was a historical figure who died during the siege of Maastricht here in the Netherlands.

    btw, it was kinda weird to see those senbatsu members in the back row(s) during Seijun Philosophy, weird but fitting imho :)

    I'm not worried about that :D
    Japan and the Netherlands traditionally had a good relationship going back hundreds of years (from 1609)... which broke down of course during the second world war :(
    But since then things normalized again and from 2015 till 2017 Japanese didn't even need a work permit to work in the Netherlands (cause of a treaty from 1912 which gave Japan the same status of Switzerland).

    Well, she was their captain ... and I like to think she was a valued mentor to them, so yeah ;)

    Seeing the graduation stage pics is really driving it home now, especially Nana's face. This has to be the hardest thing she's had to go through in AKB.

    I'm not going to make any assumptions about the the behind the scenes reasoning, because frankly I don't know a thing. All I can say is I dearly hope everything is exactly as it appears and Mako is leaving on her own terms, and not because she feels like she is being squeezed out, because that ending is the least that she deserved.
