I watch nyan nyan live concert yesterday and..
Damnn so good!! If they release a DVD I will buy one because its so fun and enjoyable.

 

Yes! I think this concert is one of the best graduation concert. The venues was not a big venue like Tokyo Dome or SSA or Yokohama Stadium or Yafuoku, but this concert so enjoyable graduation concert

I hear that pre-order for Nyan Nyan Graduation Concert will ended in February 28, and they will bonuses 22 photopacks for who order it before February 28. I saw the information from AKB48 LINE Official Account.

 

I thought the concert was pretty good. Lots of good moments. I didn't think Shamu Neko could have ever turned into a sexy song, but man.

Props for actual live singing and very little instances of anything cringe worthy during those moments. They'll probably fix that in the home release, as well as some of the camera cuts that didn't make any sense.

If that was really Sakippe playing the piano for Sakura No Ki Narou, I'm a little sad that she didn't get any camera time aside from her hands.

 

I'm watching BS-live TV footage atm. Felt right at home when Mariko and Maeda delivered their Skirt Hirari lines raw at very beginning. Quintessential AKB stuff I have to admit...

Edit: Finished watching it - I think it was very nice well produced sendoff of iconic original kami-7 member. Well at least as old fart I don't regret watching it fully till end. So many familiar pre-2013 songs in set-list perhaps made it for me.

there are two girls missing, the golden haired ones, one is hiwatachi yui but i can't tell who the other one is

 

The live singing was awesome but I wonder if the mics were at bad condition lol

Kojiharu has the most badazz exit ever lol, peacing out with a limo XD

 

I feel like this line in Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka?
"Kimi ga kimi rashiku ikiteiru koto"
reeeeaaally describes Kojiharu ;;u;;

 

I wonder if they'll bring grad. members for special stuff even when they're like 50 or 60

I actually hope that some of them can come back to be hired as training staff (singing, dancing teachers), producers, song writers/composers because it would mean a lot to the AKB legacy.

 

With the exception of a handful of cross-gen relationships, like Takamina with Yuihan, Mariko with Jurina, Yuko with Tomu, etc. there's no reason to bring ori gens back for most 9th+ grads. And there are barely any pre-9th gen left.

 

By that time there's a high chance that 48g is no more.

 

Washed up old idols are one of Japan's favorite things. We'll be seeing the AKB greats randomly popping up for a long time to come.

 

Idk but probably they still can go on for another 10 more years perhaps

 

My guess is probably about 5 more years for the general public and 10 more for wotas, then they're done. But in 10 years most of them would only be in their 30s, by the time they reach their 50s, 48g would probably be gone.

 

I'm actually putting my hopes on team 8 and 16th gen lol

Some people have become a fortune teller here.. But this topic seems interesting and worth a thread. For me, AKB real decline will be when Aki-P completely retire.

 

Some can't distinguish the difference between guessing and predicting lol.

Watching it again I noticed that Yuko never came back after Kinjirareta Futari, maybe she still had work.
