When she was 16, and known as 虎南有美 (Konan Yumi), she was in the short-lived group SOUL TIGER. Konan Yuka, currently of Nakano Fujoshi Sisters, was the main vocalist.

More recently, she was in Ebisu Muscats, a group from a TV show. Konan graduated from there on 7/7 to be a part of SDN.

actually the first time i saw her was on the ebisu muscats variety show. i approve!

im a fan of ebisu muscats as well, KONAN always was clowned on, she was really funny on the show, OMG in the GAGAGA PV she is blazin

 

Why is her name always written in English, while every other member is written in Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji?

 

Maybe that's how she likes to do it - like miwa, where she knows her full name but decides not to put that information to the public (mainly because she's in Keio University) and decides to put her nickname, in which she goes lowercase Roman letters.

 

I guess. It was just kinda strange. ^^
