Wow, huge congratulations. Waseda is an extremely prestigious university

I fear that this may mean her days in Nogi are numbered though. In the past, some students at elite universities have graduated at the start of their final year... and in her case as a foreign languages student there could be a year of overseas placement as part of her studies as well

Anyway, that's a concern for another day. Omedetou!

It's nice to hear that Kuromi-chan is a good senpai. She was name drop in the extended 5th Gen Mt. Fuji episode as well as in Okamoto''s latest blog. She may not be popular with fans, but she is popular with members.

For the last couple of weeks, the bilibili post was just showing some kind of error mentioning FLASH. FLASH! LOLz. Anyhow that stuff was not showing until recently. Just laughing out loud because FLASH...

 

Kuromi has really been booming the past few Koujichuu.
Maybe it just me, but just like Runa, when the members booming in Nogichuu and Bananaman particularly shows great interest in them, they usually enters senbatsu (for non senbatsu members).

 

^On one hand, as a Kuromi-chan oshi, I like the thought of her getting into senbatsu. On the other, I feel that it is impossible without her gaining a bit more popularity. On the third hand, put her in -- all members should make it once.

 

I'd love it, if she made senbatsu, as I've been rooting for her since the beginning, but I can't help but think her studies are probably keeping her from her full potential as an idol. If she's focused on her studies, I think that's the right choice, especially since no one can stay an idol forever, but I can't help but wonder where she'd be if her path mirrored Kageyama of Hinata and she had a chance to show what we her supporters already know; that she's adorable, charismatic, and fun to watch.

Kuromi was named dropped again this time by Mizuki during Monday's (2023.02.20) Haishinchuu broadcast. It came when they were showing birthday goods and Kubo had one of the grab bag buttons you can win after purchasing some items. Mizuki guessed it would be Kuromi. Sadly it wasn't (it was Aruno!)

On her blog on Sunday after the selection announcement, Mizuki mentioned Kuromi as well and even included a two shot.
