LE SSERAFIM's DAY OFF Season2 in JEJU PLUS (English CC subs): if the video does not show watch the video here
Last singles 48 Groups Japan + IZ*ONE + IZ*ONE was also for comparison with the group's Japanese singles !
Then the rank here is nonsense. Why you have to rank these singles when you know many AKB or SKE singles' sales are better than them? How can you compare the best sales of IZ*ONE with the bad sales of 48G recently?
What does number of members have to do with sales comparison? In that case, you'd have to disregard all of AKB's sales because if you split them across members, the sales wouldn't be great either.
I Just mean it between These 2 groups Izone more members = more sold CDs for events I don't know if LE SSERAFIM is more popular than Izone
As far as I can remember the pre-Covid 'in person' events for IZ*ONE in Japan in 2019 involved meeting *all* of the members with one ticket, they were basically high-wave events with just a few seconds of talking to each one (I've a friend in Japan who went to one who could confirm). However the online talks in late 2020 (which I did take part in) were one ticket per member. Meanwhile here's a video of the group's appearance this morning on ZIP! (credit to uploader), they perform the Japanese version of 'FEARLESS' in the studio at 01:23:
Day 2: 8,651 (1st spot) https://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/d/2023-01-25/ 195,774 copies sold according to Billboard https://www.billboard-japan.com/d_news/detail/121267/2
Why just those two groups? AKB48 singles included almost all 48 Group members (including sister groups) during the heyday, so more members = more sales. We can see how true that is now that 48 Group has split and every group does hanashikai on their own, without sister groups. It's still interesting to see the comparison of sales, and it shows that LE SSERAFIM is doing pretty well.
I don't mean to offend someone but I think it's more surreal to compare these 2 groups. (time between debut and announcement of the band)
LE SSERAFIM was announced in April 2022. That means it took 9 months between announcement and Japan debut. IZ*ONE was announced in October 2018. Their Japan debut was in February 2019, means there were 4 months. If you count the start of Produce 48, which was in June 2018, then it's 8 months since announcement and debut. Either way, IZ*ONE had less time to build a fan base before the Japan debut than LE SSERAFIM.
The thing is why he/she has to compare 48G with IZ*ONE and LE SSERAFIM. If you want to compare, please find the singles released almost same time. Ex: Suki to Iwasetai vs AKB Jiwaru Days vs SKE Stand By You vs NMB Tokonoma Seiza Musume...
