Legacies in AKB48 Group (Sisters or Mother/Daughter in AKB48)

Driving home today, I was just wondering if we will ever reach a point where we will see "legacies" in the AKB48 Group.

What I mean by that do you think we will ever sisters who are both members, or as we have some of the OG having kids. A mother and daughter

Maybe I am idealistic and hope that the group will stay active for long enough that we will see a mother daughter duo.

 

It would be super cool if one of the girls who joins in the future has a mother who was in the group, except its way too early. This year's draft had two sisters participating: Nomura Nao and Nomura Miyu. Sadly, Miyu didn't make the cut.

 

We can only dream right check back in about 11-15 years for the mother daughter.

Hey does Mariri have a daughter, if so that is our first chance or maybe one of the SDN48 girls.

 

I hope Miyo tries again. If she went far enough into the Draft selections that she was in the actual Kaigi, I'm sure she could do well if she auditions again. Besides, she's still very young so I think she can make it.

 

I feel like sometime there might be, if the group keeps on going for that long. Several members have had kids (Ohori had a daughter and Komori is unknown) and just for the fun of it their daughters might join the group. Since their mothers were idols, there's a bigger chance they'll become idols themselves.

 

Lol JKT has 2 sister pairs (used to be 3) and iirc NMB graduate Matsuda Shiori had a sister who was an AKB member and Nishino Nanase & Former NMB KKS Takayama Riko (i think that's her name) are cousins if that count

And i hope Meetan's child (if it's a girl) could join AKB^^

If we're talking about cousins, don't forget Kizaki Yuria and Asai Yuka!

 

SKE KKS Ota Ayaka is younger sister of NMB graduate Ota Riona

 

I think you might be thinking of Takada Shiori, a 1st gen of Team S. She was the younger sister of Takada Ayana, who was an original Team K member.

And if we're mentioning sisters, there was Akiko & Natsuko, who were both SDN 2nd Gen members.

Rinatin has a daughter named Airi Hopefully she'd want to join AKB and if so, I hope she inherited her mother's beautiful voice

 

I guess her legacy's pretty doomed for due to her AV career, sadly.

 

Nah, she visited the theater at the day Takamina graduated. 1st gen members took a pic together.

 

Wait, oh my god?! I'm so happy she was allowed back

 

There's two sisters in the Taiwan Kenkyuusei so I guess it's safe to say there will be two sisters in TPE48.

 

JKT has another pair of sisters in their 5th gen..

 

Well I know Nogizaka46's Himetan is the older sister of Babymetals Su-Metal so if one of them has a daughter one day the chance of that kid becoming an idol seems fairly high since both mother and aunt were ones.
