Happy belated birthday, Macharin!

 

Watched her showroom stream earlier today and she definitely caught my attention. She wasn't talking about exactly the most interesting things ever, but I still couldn't help but keep listening to and watching her, and despite her choice of topics, she really was a fun person. Her struggling with some words was so adorable!

 

In her today's showroom, Macharin mentioned having had throat pain as of late, which is quite worrying... She apologized to her fans for it, saying it is her own fault (unfortunately, I missed her explanation). Of course, her fans told her to not to worry and to rest, showing their worry for her, to which she replied how kind her fans were, but again told them to not worry, because it is her own fault.

Obviously I don't know her well yet, having only watched her recent showrooms and not much else, but I can tell she's a really hard worker, perhaps even too much, which was apparent in her showroom the other day (though she was still her energetic, happy self). With her work and studies both being there, she probably has very little free time, but I hope she'll be able to get some rest. Thankfully her fans told that number of times, which I wanted to, but wasn't able to (I don't know a single kanji yet, nor can I speak Japanese well yet either). I will be following her showroom more, whenever I have the chance.

 

Congrats on making your very first senbatsu Macharin.

She technically made history you could say.

I haven't found any video of the announcement yet but you can check the Taiwan fan group facebook page. I'm sure ATC has a recording and will be processing it within the day.
You're not wrong about surprise and crying of happiness (Literally in tears on SHOWROOM right now).

 

Even though her senbatsu may be seen as a push, people who have followed her for the past year know the ridiculous amount of hours she has put towards learning Japanese gags for AKBingo and MCs. I’m personally looking at this as a “hard work pays off” reward

 

Watching the showroom backstage with Top Lead- san. When they were announcing senbatsu, it was Macharin's name that made them scream and you could see how happy they were. Even the behind the camera staff could be heard saying "sugoi" when she was called.And me? I'm just happy, with a tear in my eye. Omedetou, ottomage ma!!!!!

 

Macharin has a new nickname by toplead. They call her Macha-san lol

And congrats Macha-san! Well done you have climbed your way this far! Next stop high ranks in SSK!

the most surprising decision for this singles senbatsu,i'm very happy for her.
I hope to see more of Macharin in 2018
