Album Maeda Atsuko 1st Album (Selfish) (2016/06/22)

I really like the song! Its cute and catchy, really shows off her fresh, youthful sound. Plus she looks really gorgeous in the PV!

The song is so colourful but the covers are so boring though! >_> There was so many nice visuals in the song but they didn't use anything.

has any member in akb/ former member released an album yet besides acchan? i usually like her songs but this one isnt that good. wish there were more new songs on her album...

 

@Kamine Tomochin did back in 2014, her sales weren't outstanding either.

I haven't listened to the new songs yet, but it's a bit of a letdown the album is mainly recycled material. But I love the covers, very 80's-90's.

 

It sucks that we only got 4 new songs, but damn they're good!!!

Zetsubo no Irikuchi is simply AMAZING.Total a-side material.
Yasashii Sayonara is a nice old-school tune.
Wagamama serves Idol Acchan one more time.

Can't believe they went with Selfish to promote this. It's so inferior (while still good).

I'm not surprised at the sales tbh.
She might be getting acting gigs and all but she has moved out lf the spotlight and she hasn't promoted this much.
It's just a nice way of releasing her music career and give it a nice ending. I really doubt she'll release anything else after this

 

I haven't gave any of the new songs a listen (just yet), but I loved all of the songs Acchan has previously released, so I'm hoping that I will love these new songs too.

I really hope this won't be the ending of her music career. I prefer she release a single or album once in a while rather than none at all. A tie-in to a drama she's involved in, or movie... that would be such a treat.

 

Ok, so I'm in love with this album. Well, there's only 4 new songs, but I love them all now~ Selfish is a lot better than I initially thought.

 

Still waiting for my copy to arrive.

the sales are pretty good. im not a big fan of the album (besides for the cover) but im glad she's doing well.

I just saw a performance of Selfish on Good Time Music (21st June) and I must say it wasn't a good one, especially the beginning. It makes me think that she really is not into singing / her music career. She didn't look like she had fun. I'm having second thoughts on the second paragraph of my earlier post. This is it. If she's not having fun, why bother. I will be off to my corner and cry.

LOL no seriously the whole time she was like, "Get me out now." I kind of just see this album as a gift to her fans cause we've waited so long...there's no guarantee she'll release more music (unless it's like a drama-tie-in song or movie-tie-in)~

She usually has good stage presence, but she was out of it for this performance~

lol. it was pretty awkward to watch in the beginning but near the end she started getting more into her performance. was she singing live?

 

You mean not lip-sync? I believe it's live, since her neck vein was apparent enough
