and I still think Kuroi Tenshi is the best Acchan 's unit ... except for shuffle unit .. Acchan version of Zannen Shoujo is epic (probably another bias but I love Mayuyu as well [rofl] )

The girls stay thin because their body is very efficient. Their body process all the food into energy, it's 100% efficient

And they're Japanese, of course they petite ..

I think their hectic schedule and dance routines make up for it. Even if they eat a lot, it's really not that much considering what they do.

But also, Asian metabolism is factored in. God, I love my metabolism.

And most of the time there are not real food (besides her mom's breakfast and lunch boxes)
They are cakes, snacks..cheese cakes, snacks, etc. XD

I have to disagree. One of the AKBingo eps.. the girls went to some school to perform 10nen sakura(?) and the students there.... weren't very petite.

I think they stay so small because their portions are so small (with the added cardio workout they get from performances). I remember Yuko Maeda Takahashi Mayu and Yuki were browsing at a flea market in Guam.. and all the girls shared one bowl of noodles.

hahah. Well, the kids nowadays in Asia actually have a problem: McDonald's. There's been a lot of shows and news reports about the alarming growth (sideways growth) of kids nowadays who eat a lot of junk.

While we're on the subject of Guam, there was a part when Yuki bought some kind of red juice and after Takamina took a picture of her holding the cup, Acchan suddenly grabbed the straw and started drinking. That struck me as gluttonous. It seemed like she was really hungry that day though. She also looked kind of depleted. Didn't Acchan get sick while in Guam?
