Matsumura Sayuri (Sayurin) / 1st Gen

Not surprising given that she initially marketed herself as an Anime/Manga otaku, though it didn't end up becoming significant to her character later on. Looking at the example of AKB trying to transition to voice acting hasn't been particularly fruitful, even for those girls who gained experience on AKB0048 like Nakaya Sayaka and Sato Amina.

 

IMO, those were completely different cases for each 0048 graduate.
Nakayan went YOLO and jump straight to the fire, and only got few jobs in the last year.
Amina went to a VA specialized agency, and while she not had been in many works, she has a established role in the Idolmaster franchise.
Shawako went to school to start from scratch, and only started getting main roles this year.

Sayuri already surprise me with her role in Bemars, is way better than i expected , probably if she want to enter this line of work, it will not as bad, yet, needs a lot of work to do.

i'm a new fan of nogizaka46, watched a lot of their shows in the last few months and sayuringo is in my top 5. i was wondering/worried how she's recovering from last year but i'm relieved she's not doing too bad. i hope she can get her place back at the top. humans make mistakes after all.

p.s: i think her voice would really suit some roles in voice acting along with minami.

 

Sayuri was a guest on Music Japan, she was with muse from the anime Love Live! school idol project. I can imagine her fangirling because she's a love live fan!

ah Sayurin... gorgeous, sexy, dumb, cute, kawaii, childish, doll, can't sing so well, but her "falsetto" like way to sing, is so amazing, and so kawaii!! I just love her! She is so IDOL !!!

 

When I first watched that Music Japan segment, I never really know her and never really bothered about knowing her. I only watched that particular MJ because of μ's. But then when I started following nogizaka I just realiszed that she's the one who interviewed μ's back then and how cute she was doing nico, nico, nii. And how glad I am that she's a fan of love live.

Is it just me or does this means that they are a close pair again like before? From what I have seen from the variety shows and other recent clips, they haven't been seen as close together as if joined to the hips since the scandal got published. Hope that I am wrong though
