Hello. I have an unusual request, if you want to take it
I was reading on the wiki that Sayurin likes to sing "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu". Dunno how much this info is updated, but still, do you think there is any video online of her singing it? I can't find any.

If you haven't found it yet, here's one with Kawago Hina back in 2011:

if the video does not show watch the video here

And a big jump in quality, with Haruhi herself, Hirano Aya:

Question to those of you who are much more well-versed in Japanese than I am: I've noticed that while Sayuri's first name is often pronounced as one uninterrupted unit, sometimes it is rendered as Ma~~~tsumura, with an elongated 'a'. I haven't noticed this sort of effect applied with any regularity to any other Japanese name. Can you tell me why such an emphasis is put on the first syllable?

The name should be split as Matsu-mura along the kanji boundaries, so I'm curious why it's never Matsu~~~mura with a long 'u', or Matsu <slight pause> mura. Maybe it's because the first mora of 松 is descending in pitch (see http://www.gavo.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ojad/search/index/sortprefix:accent/narabi1:kata_asc/narabi2:accent_asc/narabi3:mola_asc/yure:visible/curve:fujisaki/details:invisible/limit:20/word:松)?

I have no idea, but just in case you don't get an answer and end up investigating further on your own, I'd like to remind you she's a Kansai person, and judging by her behavior and accent (even after almost 10 years living in Tokyo), I assume from a very strongly Kansai family. That might have nothing to do with it, of course, but maybe, just maybe, it is a Kansai thing. Other people named Matsumura or Matsusomething seem (to me — but my hearing is not that great) to put more emphasis on the first mora of the second kanji.
