After the first stage, not getting voted off: High five! .... Sensei, High five? .... Sensei? ..... ow, ok, no high five

I got the impression the others were quite competent cooks in their own right, television chefs?

 

Yeah, sure it will, but I would kindly ask them to take that opinion somewhere else in this forum, I am (we are?) aware how some people feel about Miichan and they don't have to keep telling me, I know how they think and I don't really care, you won't change my opinion and for sure I won't change theirs.
Their perception of Miichan as a person differs from mine, that happens.

Well, she has still a reasonable ranking in the Sousenkyo, a wealth of experience to share with the younger members and with all the seniors graduating recently some 'older' members sticking around isn't such a bad idea imho.

I kinda disagree, yeah, she often ends up at the wings or in the back during performances, but on the other hand she has been given ample opportunity to get herself noticed in AKBingo in the past, and the management could easily have dropped her from the BKA48 Mechaike episode, not have her feature kinda prominently in 'The Time has Come' or cancelled Kousagi Dojo outright.
I don't think she has been treated that badly by management in hindsight.

 

Is that a saxophone? I was aware she and sasshi played trombone on ‘give me five’, and that was kind of a gimmick of course, I didn’t know she played sax as well?
(Call me stupid, but playing trombone looks easier to me then trumpet or sax :/)

 

Ah, I was right ... I thought I recognised the name, she's the singer from Overfly, the ending theme of season one of Sword Art Online
Personally I would prefer a bit more upbeat songs for Miichan, I must admit the only two solo songs I know are Watashi wa Watashi and that song from Snack kissa eden,and they have a bit 'heavy' subject matter with music matching it.
btw I don't think Miichan will be able to hit high notes like Luna Haruna, her voice is a bit lower, fuller so to speak, but also a tad warmer.

Searching for it turned up a live version by Ayame Goriki ... I know I'm biased ... but Miichan's version was better imho

P.S. I do think Ayame Goriki is extremely cute as well, o, and another note and I like Hiroyuki Yabe as well, he really seemed to bond with Paruru.

 

I think that was the last episode of Snack Kissa Eden, a TV show with no3b, set in a bar with some regular customers and every episode a special guest, Takamina played the daughter of Lily Franky, the proprietor, Kojiharu was a 'Hostess' and Miichan seemed to be just a girl hanging around all the time

iirc, Lily Franky was the one that made this year's election poster for Miichan

And the one with the flowers, who is evidently deep into the song, is apparently Japan's most successful music producer, Tetsuya Komuro
