I just had the chance to watch the rest of the Team K concert, including Makochan's graduation announcement


I know Miichan knew about it, but look at the dynamics ...
everybody is looking at Mako-chan, several member breaking down, some struggling not to ...

and then there's Miichan standing a bit to the side, apart from the others

she looked so lonely there and she was like that during the whole speech, which lasted several minutes

during the show you can see her comfort several members when they start crying, everyone who needs it get a pat on the head or a hug ...
makes you want to have someone do that for her as well, right?

to be honest, she recomposed herself quickly as she was invited to speak to Makochan as we know
truth be told, Miichan did a lot of MC during the concert ... like it was still Minegishi Team-K

it was a good concert though .... but Akimoto Team K and Oshima Team K had more power when I compare Wasshoi Team K

Who is your favorite active member? (A survey of women) While Naachan was the overall winner, when it came to 30 somethings, Miichan topped the list.

I had to google it ... arasa = around 30

as I said, I was kinda amazed how many girls visited Miichan's photo exhibit ... and I think it's a good thing

btw ... arasa girls seems to be the target demography for UTAGE ... that's an almost exclusive female audience

 

There's an extra performance of Momotarou with Miichan and local celebrities for the victims of the Okoyama Heavy Floods Disaster on the 21th in Kurashiki (pronounced as Kurashki)

I suppose it's about the floods in 2018 where 200 people died and the valley/plain near Kurashiki was completely flooded

My sister an me rented some bikes there in 2016 from really friendly older Japanese couple running the bicycle depot in Soja who refused to let us leave if we didn't wear the hats they provided against the sun, I really hope they made it through the floods ok :/

I'll be honest, if I wasn't told it was Miichan I don't thing I would have made the connection
It might if he/she had drawn the left eye slightly larger, but then again... we all know Miichan likes to take the 'focus' away from that'

(although the cynical me suspects it's because of what Miichan does best, supporting newer members, in this case a somewhat beleaguered center
I must add ... that's not a bad thing, I wouldn't mind Miichan becoming the 'mother' of whole AKB if she can do what she did with Team 4, as long as she get's the recognition for it, it will be fine
but I guess the newest generations are too much in awe of the older gens to develop a bond as Miichan did with Team 4)

Miichan had the performance of Momotaro for the victims of last year's flood in the Okayama region in Kurashiki
It was a much larger venue then in Tokyo and the place was packed

She seemed to enjoy it together with other cast members

 

Looks like Toyonaga Aki and Miichan choose the same song(?) for the Singing contest ... and then used Janken to decide something ... who goes first? who has to pick another song? ... I guess the second option

Stop wondering .... just do it .... you can do it in your native language ... I did (with an attempt to translate into Japanese )

Don't get me wrong I don't dislike Tomomi ... but the voice Japanese girls use when they are acting cute ... the voice the maid cafe girls use on the streets of Akihabara .... nope, not for me, that must really be a Japanese thing, when you read comments like 'ow, she has such a heavenly voice' I just think ... imagine if someone talked to you like that the whole day, it's enough to make you go mad
