By the way, almost all upcoming graduations are being postponed. Off my head I know Isogai Kanon (STU48), Takayanagi Akane (SKE48), Kataoka Narumi (SKE48) all postpone their graduation.

I'm going to say it again ... since she announced her graduation she's been enjoying each and every appearance on tv to the max

 

Btw, I never really understood why Miichan was unable to do a proper backflip ... we all know she does an epic cartwheel, and at the end of Sakura no Hanabiratachi I think it's her that jumps higher then even Yuko

(btw, seeing that MV kinda reminds me how that ceremony in my school was a kind of a non event, all graduates gathered and we were called forward in blocks to sign our diplomas ... and that was it, can't even remember saying goodbye to my classmates (but I didn't really have a connection with them anyway as I repeated my fourth year, so all my friends had graduated a year earlier) )

Miichan used to be absolutely fearless in variety, especially in earlier AKBingo episodes, I remember in the AKB vs Idoling where she kicked Sata-san ... somehow, apart from Yuko, I don't think anyone would/could have done that
(was she told to do it by staff, maybe .... but still, remember, she was just about 15 or so)
And, the funny thing of course is that she and Bad Boys got along so well regardless of her lack of 'respect' during AKBingo.
(or maybe because of it)
After her scandal she got more careful, maybe partly because of the amount of hate she got, but over time she regained a lot of that confidence and lately she seems liberated
Regardless of all that, she has always been told she was funny, so I think she was pretty secure in that and she always was one of the members that was good at MC and improvisation.

But, as an idol, well, she never was that confident I think, I thinks she always thought Acchan, Nyan-nyan, Mariko, Mayuyu and Tomochin were 'real' idols, those were the ones who were deemed pretty and had fashion sense.
Especially 2-chan relentlessly called her ugly, and the nickname Gachapin ... well, that doesn't help your self confidence.
(btw, she does have a substantial foreign fan base .... I think half the comments on her Graduation MV are non-japanese (and I now have the distinct feeling I have said this before ... :/) )

Somehow I think Miichan was a frog and I'm sure they turned her into a princess

btw, I watched the Mayuyu graduation documentary earlier today, I always hear a lot of Miichan fans complaining about how she was being systematically ignored, I disagree for the most part, it is even demonstrably untrue in a lot of documentaries, even after her scandal.
But .... yeah ... in this one it's almost like she didn't exist ... "mayuyu graduates, but there are still great senpai like Yukirin and Sasshii" ....
(ok, I get it ... it's mostly Team B ... but still ... damn)
