Very weird to see a top idol resorting to a YouTube channel just to promote herself, especially a gaming one. Just give her more jobs ffs, can't be that hard for someone of her caliber.

Props to Sakura for taking the initiative though.

Guys Sakura loves games. She once had this game sometime this summer that she played until late midnight. It's great that she's going to promote herself by doing something she loves.
Besides, everyone does makeup tutorials and stuff. No idol ever does gaming videos

It's indeed something she wants to do and does it all by herself. Not everything has to be expedient. Maybe it's weird because it's something not massively directed by the jimusho for a change.

We'll see how much time she has and how frequently she uploads but the fact that it's a thing is already great. Sakura has always had an interesting and amusing personality imo (and interest for games), only it did not (or was not allowed to) come forward for some past eras.
Someone correctly pointed out to me that her Smash Bros character reveal-like first small announcement was perhaps a hint towards the content.
Maybe collab one day with SKE's Kohaku or NMB's Anchu.

 

Yeah, and that's one of the many reasons why she's my Kami oshi lol She's actually such a normal person, and relatable on so many levels.

I also read somewhere that she sometimes plays Monster Hunter with Sasshi Yukirin and Nanase from Nogi. It would be great if she could invite them as guests in her videos and played together.
I'm looking forward to it!

I've been wondering why nobody did it for a long time... idols and games are meant for each other!

Sakura is a legit gamer lol
I already expected gaming would be her focus and thats include Splatoon 2, a game that made her didnt sleep after she played it
And she would mention some games too in her G+,mobame (e.g. Monster Hunter,Splatoon)
Maybe you think its weird that she loves game but those who follow her already knew and expect it lol

So happy she took some non-mainstream route for idol when open a YouTube channel
Tbh all of my subscription is gaming channel and a few others so having Sakura open a gaming channel will double love to me

Someone in this thread has never heard of Anchu (or Alice Project's Game Girls, for that matter, if we have to step out of 48G and into slightly underground territory). I'm not pointing out who though, I don't want to pop his little bubble since he seems so proud of himself it's almost cute to see.
