Mizuki Nana (水樹 奈々) is a popular singer and voice actress (seiyuu). She's successful as a seiyuu with many notable leading roles in her credit. Nana released her first album, Supersonic Girl, in 2001 and has since been releasing new albums almost every year. Her lastest single, Shin Ai, received the No.1 spot on the Oricon Daily Ranking on the second day of its release. Mizuki Nana is also a skilled live performer. Normally I don't like seiyuu's music/voices... but I like some of Mizuki Nana's music. I have the "Great Activity" album, which I think is really nice - it has some great songs. I haven't heard her earlier music though... I'll listen to Ultimate Diamond soon.

yeah she's the ultimate seiyuu idol. She brings life to such great anime characters and can also sing her heart out on her songs. Trivia: did you guys know that she was the one who voiced Hinata from Naruto.
i just started liking her since 2 months ago... now i'm listening to her every day. im attracted by her voice. of course her song is the first which made me interested in her.

I find it surprising that a lot of people don't seem to know that Nanachan voiced Hinata; it's one of her more 'notable' roles. There's a list of her seiyuu roles here. She's a relatively versatile seiyuu with moe voice (Shinobu - Shinobuden), grown up (Misaki - Darker than Black) and boyish roles (Wrath - FMA, Touma - Minami-ke). IMO, Great Activity is a very good album, one of the better ones. Since I've been looping Ultimate Diamond for the past two days, while it has some great songs, on the whole, I still like GA better. You should definitely check out some of her older stuff though; there are great songs there. She also has a 'the best of' album, The Museum, that was released just before GA. I've the whole of Live Formula through a few times already, lol. She is an amazing live singer Her performance at animelo is always the one I look forward to the most (then Suara and Minorin). I'm not her big fan but I love most of her latest song. My fav would be Shin Ai. Some songs that I love are mostly from anime, such as Meikyuu Butterfly, Black Diamond, Shin Ai and several more which I don't remember the titles. But to compare Ultimate Diamond and her previous album, The Museum, the latest one would be better.
Japan Traditional + Rock.. Is very hard to add those together and make it sound so nice.. But this latest single keep me confusion..
Ultimate Diamond is #1 on the Oricon Weekly Ranking!!! I believe this is the first time her album placed first in the weekly chart. What's more, the sales total for the first week was 74206. IIRC, the first week sales for Great Activity was around 45k. Almost 30k more, zOMG!!!
Yesterday I listened to the album and to be honest the singles really didn't impress me. But the album is a very good whole package. I enjoyed it very much and I liked her voice more than I expected.
