Single MNL48 1st [Aitakatta] (2018/09/28)

Honestly, I really would prefer local element costumes to go to songs like Sakura no Hanabiratachi or Kimi wa Melody sounds, but that's just me. Lol.

Agree, I want them to shoot Kimi wa Melody in the country side, where they'll be playing old school Filipino games. Or maybe they'll walk in Calle Crisologo in Vigan wearing terno or baro't saya.

Anyway, excited for the Aitakatta PV, I hope they ran on top of the walls of Intramuros

 

I'm very excited since 20 days left before MNL48's debut single launches.

 

Wooo and I saw their single cover minimalistic covers are so beautiful! I am so excited to buy this on August 31!

Would this be the CD cover? It seems they didn't follow the ranking position properly. Ash should be in the middle of the 3rd row.

I hope they can still fix this before mass production.

My first choice? No, not really.
But ideal first choice to get the Filipino audience used to JPop? Yeah, probably. Not to mention doing this means MNL's debut strongly parallels AKB's when they first started (which is a good thing) Give it a chance haha

Btw they said the MV premier will be released in MYX Channel on August 18. Does anybody know what time they usually release their premiers?

Maybe because Skirt Hirari is too important a song. Kami 7 was I think Skirt 7 before the 1st election.

I hope I'm wrong but MNL's formation in Skirt Hirari seems to disregard the kami 7 ranks. Ash seems to be in the side of the 2nd row.

 

as I correctly recall, originally, Skirt Hirari is double-center...so Abby and Sheki shares the spot for that song, I wonder?

Also, Takamina and Maeda are bolded as centers in the stage48 wiki. Personally, I really thought it was a Maeda-solo center but I had seen several fans saying it was a double center.

 

MNL48 will perform on It's Showtime on 18 and MV release on MYX on 31.

 

weee I'm excited although pretty sure they will perform Aitakatta again.

 

I'll have to re-check the press documents, but I think it said the MV will also be screened in Showtime but I may be misremembering things. Maybe @Rayan can chime in because I'm currently at work and don't have them with me.

 

Honestly, I'm not surprised it's Aitakatta. I just had hoped their Heavy Rotation cover to get in on this, but it seems not likely since according to the Wiki, only Aitakatta, Skirt Hirari and SakuNoHanabi are in this Single.

 

I mean, Heavy Rotation is a HUGE name. It's bound to get its own highlighted single at some point lol
