    So... I contacted them and looks like applications are accepted between April and June.

    UPDATE: June 30 is the deadline (according to the official website)

    How many people in Mumbai even know about this? And how many of those care enough to apply? Curious about this but it's more likely they'll scout for girls if they can't make up the numbers.

    There isn't much of a wota base in India so there won't be a lot of girls who will apply just because of the AKB connection. I don't think there's even a clear idea as to what MUM48 is exactly.
