Out of all the years she chose not to participate, she chose the year that she will most likely rank...

 

Is it though? She was 100th last year, barely, so with tons of new members rising...

In any event I am not really surprised, kinda felt like this would happen.

 

I mean there are plenty of girls who ranked last year that decided not to participate this year and some graduated already so there are chances she would rank.

 

Someone said in the ssk tread that she said she won't participate and will takl about later in more details!

 

It's the same every year, everytime there are plenty of girls from the year before not participating anymore. Still she fell out of the ranking last year, after being in it 2016. So yes it was possible, but not guaranteed.
But lets wait for her reasoning for not joining.

 

Ranking in or not, I'm sad that I can't share that feeling of happiness/sadness with other fans. It's really hard to tell whether or not she would have made it with so many variables. I guess I'm pretty salty because last year's ssk had that rigged scandal and Shige had her Insta scandal and ofc didn't rank in. Anyway I look forward to reading what she has to say on the matter, I'll try and make time to translate.

I hope so neither!I'm also thinking the same for a few other HKT members!I'm not the most worried about Emiri since someone said that she didn't applied because she didn't know if her fans would actually vote for her but there's still her and other members like Asuka and Mao!
