I haven't come across any info regarding that, but I reckon it's not a coincidence. It's similar with Nanamin, and yes, the guest was only Ikuchan.

 

Perhaps, other than their being close friends, Ikuchan is considered to be a supportive member by the others. A suitable "shoulder to cry on", if you will.

yeah that's what nanamin said about ikuchan and reika, i don't remember what she said exactly, something like 'can be trusted', and/or 'someone with no hidden agenda', something like that.

It was because of her that I got into Nogi and Keya, I'll always have this feeling that she could have a better idol career, worst part is that leaving this way must be painful for her. Anyhow probably we'll never know what is exactly her health condition, decision that I totally understand in these case, so I'll not worry to much about it, she is in good care with her family.

Personally i feel almost silly that this effect me so much because hopefully she is doing this to get happier in life etc but its still very sad and i feel upset that nogizaka management wouldnt give her a proper chance.

 

damn, that video made me cry. that guy really loves Himetan.
while I'm still devastated to see her leave, I fully respect her decision. that's probably the best for her. I wish she could find happiness elsewhere.

 

I think the hardest part for a lot of people is the fact that she's not graduating because she wants to but because she feels she needs to.

If she was done and wanted to move on we could all celebrate her career and be happier with her decision like with Seirarin and MaiMai and Nanamin.

 

She's such an adorable girl. She shines like the sun.

I share this sentiment. I hope she'll have a rewarding career after this, inside showbiz or otherwise. It's sad... This hits me just like Nanamin's graduation did.

 

if Under is indeed a KiichanHimetan WCenter, it means that Himetan officially break Marika's record for most Under Centers, with Himetan 4 (KimiBoku, Shitto, Futougou, Under) and Marika 3 (Ookami ni Kuchibue wo, Umareta Mama de, Koko ni Iru Riyuu). even if you count Shitto & Under as half each (since it's a WCenter), Himetan still ties with Marika.

Well, I mentioned her retiring in a previous post, so I'm not surprised.
Has she ever expressed clearly she enjoyed being in entertainment business? Sometimes people who are doing it since very early on their lives end up not doing it for passion, but for family pressure, or because they think it's the only thing they know how to do.
Of course it may not be the case, and I would like as well to see a rested, clear-headed Hime a few years from now.

 

I'm too emotionally invested in people I don't even know.

As I am yet another caught by the beam, wishing Himetan the best.

 

I bet her last "Himetan Beam" on Kyushu Series would be the saddest beam she have ever made.
