I replayed D2 and found it, but they prolly also performed it in D3 as well, usually they have similar/ indentical setlist.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but in this show (around 1:07:30 mark) she clarifies the name origin thing: she was named after a river called Arno (アルノ川) that passes through Florence, Italy, where her parents spent their honeymoon.

Interesting stuff. Some non-kanji names usually have these. Iirc Sakuchan's came from a song/singer? Wonder where Ayame/Rei's came from though.

Yeah in one of her blog Q&A someone asked her if she's been to the river of her namesake before, and she said she hadn't but would like to go one day.

Well, Italy is a top European destination for Japanese tourists. And among them Firenze (Florence) is a-must-and-will-go! So, she'll be there eventually. Most probably for the needs of her PB (that will definitely come one day sooner or later)...

Not really the right thread to talk about this but isn't Rei's name literally "Ray" in english? I have always thought that she's been named "Ray" ever since. (or maybe her parents just want it to be Rei in katakana)

    About Aruno's name,
I think in documentary, her grandfather and grandmother have explained it, the origin of her name. which, their daughter who name it that means Aruno's mother. Lol, even they display Aruno's Portrait painting and Florence City & Arno River Landscape in their house in Kochi.

Thx for mentioning the original artist's name. Very interesting to hear the male version of this song.
Its a song you pull out at karaoke if your'e confident in your vocals.

Never had one personally, but I do remember seeing another report like this but with Hina, there's a part where he requests for her to ask other 5th gens what camp they are in/which do they prefer. It could just be the same guy.

(Edit) nvm, after viewing that account, it IS the same guy. The answers lie on his twitter feed :D

The pictures in Aruno's latest blog are all so cute <3 Thanks @halcyon for always translating. Looking forward to the EX Taishu photoshoot! and I'll listen to her songs recommendations.

I'm excited for her cover of 'I Love You' on Nogizaka Star Tanjou. Her first cover of this song is probably my favorite singing from her, I'm glad that she will sing it again! I will have two versions to listen to :3 There's a video message of Aruno on the official Twitter. it's been 6 months since the first time she performed this song and she hopes to show improvements <3

Just saw her performance of "I Love You" in Star Tanjou and it's 10x better than her omitatekai performance. I'm not seeing an idol in there anymore.
Not only does she look very nice in her costume, she delivered her performance with ease. Her vocals was so clean, you can really feel how comfortable she is singing this song. I think she already has mastered it.
Now, I would love to hear her sing the full version of this song in the future. :1st:
