I don't really think the quality of the somg would actually help unless it's something as epic as SaiMajo or a decent easy-listening song with an epic tie-in like 365

 

They have trouble getting 24/24 as a whole and already a request for 2nd gen?

Plus, releasing this so close to the election doesn't help, imo.

Hopefully they'll get another single in fall and we'll see better numbers then.

Rika Mina and Maho selling out their handshakes for the AKB SSK single, does that mean their fans are spending more money on the election than Seishun Dokei?

 

Based on what I read in 2ch, J-fans generally think it's a good song. Nothing ground breaking, but good nonetheless.

This very much could be the general public's sales result. Wotas, as individual members' fans, wouldn't buy NGT48's single for HS tickets when they can buy AKB48's single and get both a HS ticket + SSK vote with 1 single.

 

This is gonna affect NGT's SSK result, isn't it?

I wouldn't start taking AKB48's HS sales into consideration until the resale rounds, but I'm optimistic.

Maybe. The debut single helps with promoting the girls and increasing public recognition.

Sadly, NGT48's debut should've been out a couple months sooner in order to garner as much exposure and sale as possible before SSK.
Especially since the costumes aren't really summery, and fit more with colder weather.

I think Kurayami Motomu has potential to be a really good song, like Silent Majority (I know you are probably tired of the comparison, me too , but this case is a good comparison). It falls short terribly. Vocal and choreography are nowhere near intense/edgy enough to match the music. The mindless expressionless walking doesn't really help. The song progression is weird structured as well.

Maybe I'm just being to harsh on a B-side haha I really wanted to like it

Next week is NGT48Show, they will perform Seishun Dokei, Shita no Na de and Kurayami Motomu..


Is it because NGT under Sony Music that made them have their own NGT48Show, or maybe it's the new trend for 48Show as well?

 

The other 48 groups have had their own episodes (Even JKT if I remember rightly).
