CDJapan sent my CDs this morning.

 

I believe today is flying get release and the official release (as in CD shops) will be tomorrow.

 

Release day tomorrow. Maybe we'd get bad news from @ForrestFuller at this hour (19/7 PM JST).

Yes. Today's flying get of this single. Bonus photos are already available on oksen and Ogiyuka's bonus photo price is a suffering. Well, same price as Rika & Katomina (¥1800), Yukirin has higher (¥2800).

Well, I think NGT48's Sekai wa Doko Made Aozora na No Ka is more similar to Sigur Rós' Ágætis byrjun for being 2nd records & both are masterpiece. Sigur Rós' first album, Von was bad, same way as Seishun Doukei. Tho later records maybe more successful commercially similar to Sigur Rós' () & Takk... Ágætis byrjun has the iconic lyric "Tjú Tjú".

CDs are in shops today.
The official date is always on Wednesday, but they start selling on Tuesday.

That's why we get first day sales on Wednesday. It's not just the HS sales.

As long as the single is over 100k, I guess it's OK-ish... but I'm surprised Sony hasn't pushed for more promotion on this.
Also, 2nd gen is way overdue.

 

It goes without saying, but the one I'm anticipating the most is the full version of Noepii's PV. The sci-fi setting, heavy use of CG and dramatic storytelling reminded me closely of Otaki's PV from last single, which by the way also had the highest production values among all videos. And what do you know, it was a collaboration with the same producer.
Katomina and Anju (and also Ayutaro and Otaki in their own way) seem to be the ones that make the best use of each member's skills and personalities to me, which in turn would make them more engaging to watch.
Gatanee's premise is kinda intriguing: what if it was the 92nd year of the Showa era? I guess it's inspired by the fact that Marina is much more old-fashioned in her style and mannerisms than her age would suggest.
Nice subtle touch with including Tsugumin's little toy piano (of Showroom fame) into her music mix, too. I wonder if it's the one she owns or they found a similar model.
They haven't shown anything in Ayanyan's preview beyond the introduction, but it's going to be a parade of 5 cosplays, so here's another PV I'm definitely looking forward to watching.
Lastly, I feel like they dropped the ball with Maho's PV this time, assuming it's just going to be a game of shiritori against herself (one where the goal is making a 48-word chain). There was a lot they could work from, and even last time's PV combining an on-location challenge with an interview about an episode of her life was okay, especially the way the two parts eventually related with each other... Oh, well...

 

IDK I don't personally feel they are overdue, but it would benefit to really start looking atm. Like Rie is leaving and Yukirin is not really a member so they need more girls.

As a side-note: I saw the 2nd single special performance for the release and the songs are really good when listening to their full versions. Solid single overall tbh.

 

Sony hates Amurica so can't watch them yet. I'l just wait for full to be uploaded somewhere.

 

Instead of waiting for the full PV uploaded, you should buy all of their types

yea, I just saw the chart and there is no way they're gonna get first, but I guess we did expect this (I kind of forget that =Love group is releasing today too and they're doing well for themselves it seem lol).

This is a solid single tho. Really enjoyed almost every song. My fav is probably the A-side. Second fav goes to Real Gakusei senbatsu.

 

Well, it's just 6k less than the first single, so not that bad.

 

We all expected it months ago with BTS releasing on the same day.

Why do record companies do releases on the same days as others? Industry practice?

 

There are 52 weeks in a year while Japan has lots musician, idol groups, and such that each of them may (not) have a smooth release date among those 52 weeks for granted.

NGT fans still have a chance to make surprise in Request Hour 2018 also Senbatsu sousenkyo next year ~ you know what i mean
