Japanese fans or antis are actually impressed that NGT48 is doing what AKB48 did in their early years. Not going to get immediate results but will lay the foundation for the future.

I really appreciate her doing that tho (and any other idol tbh). it's hard to just stand/walk in the streets of ur city and hand out flyers and shit to get attention. I hope NGT has a good future as an idol group. I think when they start adding more generations we'll see the group either become more well known or stay in HKT48-realm (doing well, but never the same as SKE or NMB back in 2013).

 

I just finished watching the shorts, I really enjoyed all of them
Tsugumin's is probably my favorite, she's so cute in it and I liked the photography. Others I liked a lot are Anju, MauMau and Ayakani

 

I have watched most of the full videos
My favorite are from Ayutarou, Mofu, Ayakani, Gatanee (though I do not understand it ). Next are Mau, Tsugumin, KatoMina, OgiYuka, Homma, Riko (bias, lol).

 

After listening to all the songs, here's my ranking:
Otona ni Naru Mae ni ≥ Boku no Namida wa Nagarenai > Sekai wa Doko made Aozora na no ka? = Nanika ga Iru > Gikochinai Tsuugaku Densha >>> Daite Yaccha Sakuragichou

SNS song reminds me of Fuminshou by Nogi. Both are good songs without MVs.

 

Yep, that's good. This is much as effective as appearing on tv imo

Cool down about the Single sales figures. It is December and CDs are not 1st on most people's mind. I was also getting a bit poor myself buying AKB48's 49th, 50th and NGT's 2nd.

=LOVE's new single Bokura no Seifuku Christmas already passed 1 million views while NGT's new single is behind 300k views.

So as the 50th single B-sides which average around 200k views which NGT is beating them by at least 400k views.

These are horrible sales. Like I was already disappointed they had less than 200k last time, which is already bad compared to other sister groups. So I figured they wouldn't get above 200k this time either. But to not even beat the 1st singles sales is astonishing. I expected at minimum 150k on the first day to show improvement, but they've regressed. And they might not even beat the 1st singles 1 week sales either, so disappointing...

 

There are people who left the fandom and some who have just joined. Some would just support 1 group like me. So sales wise will be different. STU48 with the population of 7 prefectures. HKT48, SKE48 and NMB48 have been around longer and got a lot more fans who may just be sticking to one or 2 groups till their oshimen graduates and then leave the fandom. I know 2 friends who are just leaving the AKB48 fandom while I am just getting into it.

 

If NGT wotas can repeat or don't fall off to hard @ SSK then I think 150k weekly to *200-225k overall sales, is absolutely fantastic.
If they fall off, well then this is rather bleak...

Yea, definitely not the best, but hopefully next single they can do better (sales wise, I personally love this single very much).

 

I wish some of you don't predict doom and gloom especially this is only NGT48's second single. It give someone from the general public who is casually googling info about NGT48 the impression the group is dying and not worth a look.
