Yesterday's music program was... interesting. At least the talking segment was haha, pretty novel idea to have two kids as the hosts. The performance was shot really nicely though with no weird camera angles and zooms, and back row girls like Rinacchi got screentime which I was really happy about. I loved how the outfits and the set really matched.

The whole thing was just extremely cute (':

    It'sss Over 400,000!!!!! Woohoo.

Tbh though, i'm not sure what that means for the girls, the future yadda yadda. Is this good, bad, or distinctly average?

I do want to know, can any kind soul put it into perspective?

Hmms well it's definitely not bad. It's gonna be NMB's 2nd highest selling single as people have predicted, only behind bokura no eureka which sold 481k at first week.

NMB numbers seem to have stabilised around 300 - 400k and I guess it's good they aren't getting any weaker with AKB gradually losing prominence after all their graduations. Though to be fair, NMB had only sold 1 other single this year cause of the album. And that was Takane no Ringo which sold decently at 406k.

Cause I checked other 48sales. SKE's sales their last 2 singles dropped, selling below 400k. HKT's sales went up but it's only 280k, still short of 300k.

Nogizaka46 are the most stable selling about 457k, 420k and 478k for their last 3 singles.

I wonder how SKE's upcoming single will sell. They'll probably bounce back as well.

But yeah so based on those comparisons, I guess NMB are doing pretty okay for themselves.

If I remember correctly this single have 2shots? If yes its not so surprising. But its good nonetheless.

HKT needs more members and nore handshake dates tbh. They only have 4 days while NMB have 7

^ I hope this wasn't a lame attempt at downplaying the results. No one's stopping the other groups from holding their own events. NMB also has less zenkoku handshake events so it all evens out in the end.

Hmms but Takane no Ringo had 2shots as well, and it increased from then, so that's why it's a positive increase for them as a group.

And @zeroshiki no need to get so hasty. I don't think plomeplome was trying to downplay the results at all. It is true that NMB does have a lot of events, and even their singles always have tonnes of bonuses and what not. Yoshimoto has always been good at their marketing strategies, and that's that.

btw have anyone else seen Rashikunai performance in AKB48SHOW ? I really don't know what to think about whole thing... Sure Jo being there and Shuuchan fill in for Yukirin made me really happy and the camera men did somewhat of a good job in capturing everyone but I feel that the formation is still iffy for 22 members
It's terrible compared to SKE lastest 22 senbatsu double center formation but I love the song either way but it still fit 16 member senbatsu way more

if the video does not show watch the video here

I don't know if people have watched it but N's Kyuusen Kyoutei PV is the best omg.
Has to be one of my favourite NMB PVs up to date. They look like they're having tonnes of fun with the 50s theme and all.
Other than the car people (who don't get the fabulous closeups and probably the least screentime), wow everyone else is so fabulous.
    Looking and acting fabulous :p
I just want to party with them lol.
