Single NMB48 17th [Warota People] (2017/12/27)

Fantastic! What a fun song. 100 times better than that boring snoozefest 11gatsu no Anklet. I like the pre-chorus, it really builds things up. And a fun, colorful music video to top it off.

 

I would have preferred to not have the nico nico douga comments since I have an allergic reaction to it but the whole thing is light and fun which is a nice contrast from all the grimdark MVs that 48/46 have been producing recently.

 

overall a fun song and MV~ good job NMB~

 

It is, I actually find it unique and distinctive but the massive one during the refrain where it literally fills almost the entire screen is a little too much. I'll give it a pass since it's NMB
Kinda wish they utilize the flying nicox2 flying comment by writing something else other than WWWWWW and 88888 (what does this even mean? Someone enlighten pls)

 

The song is fun but the lyrics are pretty mocking of keyboard warrior culture which I mentioned earlier in this thread.

8888 =onomatopoeia of a clapping sound "pachi" which rhymes with "hachi" which is the number 8 in Japanese.

 

I always thought the 888 thing was pretty clever cause I guess it only works for the japanese language.

This song has everything I wanted - Mirurun center, a fun and catchy beat, repetitive lyrics, and Sayanee/Akarin duet lines (which is a trend I do enjoy, I love their voices and #aesthetic together). The Team M song is pretty standard, but I like it. 48G has stepped up its music game this half of the year finally.

I like the song but Miru is doing sexy appeal which is so out of place. She doesn't have to get all ugly-laugh with it but even a "cute and pretty" appeal or a really OTT sexy appeal to the point of comedy would have worked.
Literally EVERYONE ELSE in the senbatsu gets it but her, lmao.
Anyway the song is cute to me, the first NMB single since Durian Shonen to grab my attention.

 

Aayan kinda looks like a mini-Riripon in the MV.

I'm starting to like this song but their essential parts of "warota warota warota, warota pipol" still make me cringe.

 

Last single has Reinyan, Riripon, Shu, Keicchi, Momoka.. So the minus is expected, right?

AKB’s album announcement probably hurt this single, since that one is gonna have 2-shots.

 

Not to mention SKE 22nd single, HKT 1st album, NGT 2nd single, STU debut single and of course if you are a fan of Mayo then her album as well as if you want just for fun the =Love 2nd single. Oh and don't forget get yourself a copy of the Fairy Wink single too.

Just saying they are stretching the wota's wallet really thin here imo XD Other sister group's sales will probably trickle down a bit too not just NMB.
