On the 5th of November, a special mini handshake event was held at Tower Records in Ikebukuro, to commemorate the release of their 22nd single, 初恋至上主義

Participating members : Cocona, Jonishi, Kojirin and Mikanyan.

I think it's an okay number?
I still think it's okay considering this comes right after the 21st single. I mean, 3 months? That's hella fast, even if it's the mother group.

 

Sales are not too too bad for a group going rebuild mode. I can actually treat NMB as a new sister group now. Younger and more exciting.

Also they got very good A-side and B-sides in this single which I am happy to replay anytime

I'm liking the direction where NMB heading right now

Nice steady result! NMB seems to be the most structurally sound within the broader group - probably not unrelated to Yoshimoto. And I think Kojirin is great, and pretty too. (And for a while now they have had the best pipeline of talent on their way thru... it makes a difference to understand that there is a chance of longer term career)

This was a really lackluster single imo. Listened to everything recently and it all blends together that I didn't really even noticed when a song changed lolol. Team M might have my fav song, but that's not saying much. Usually NMB has pretty bomb B-sides.

So weird the sales were kind of this bad for NMB when we don't have anything this year like SSK. I don't remember their previous single selling that bad, but maybe it did first week lol
